used to go as a kid in the 70s, we lived not far in Woburn sands. I loved the train and the water shoot and all the big slides. Glad the train is still there, it used to scare me when it went over the water.
Shawn you so need to do collection of Charlotte's best water ride experiences, that would be such a great watch 😀😀 Best Charlotte line ever "it came all over me, like a tidal wave!!" Hilarious 😂 😃
@@ThemeParkWorldwide as an idea hyperthetical request when you wrap up your vlogs at the end of your TPWW adventurous days, may be if possible you could have a mini TPWW video consisting all of your best quality summer moments with all of the cheesy funny sense of humour, water rides, waltzer rides Charlotte screaming, dodgems lol.
This looks like a really good place to go for a fun adventurous day out.. I've always wished to fullfill my missions by visiting parks like these, I'm on my epic 7day family Peterborough holiday park vacation which is amazing however I'm really sad😪😪😪😭😭 as I was totally looking forward spending the day with my sister and 5year old niece, unfortunately I can't afford to go now especially as my Lowe back where I'm officially in recovery from my major instant invasive herniated disc life saving surgery 2019 my back is extremely painful seized up grrr, I'm not really crying the tearful emojis I've shared is my expression how I'm feeling.
Galaxy invaders actually came from Barry's Amusements in Northern Ireland. It was my home park until 2020 when the park was abandoned and sold to a developer. I have fond memories of riding that ride when it was there!
What amazes me about Charlotte is she says she doesn't like Intense rides, but then goes on all the massive n super intense looking coasters in Poland.....the wooden one , was it called Zelda or something? ... She loved that and it looked INSANE!!
Hello Shawn and Caroline. Thank you for this Wicksteed Park. Love the animals there, When the budgie said ‘Hello Mate’, The meerkats are so cute. I love the meerkats. Hope you have a good time in Spain, xx
A great little park - plenty of free stuff for the public - which is the whole point of it :) - many many happy memories of me as a kid and me with my kids :)
This looks like such a great park! It's nice to see it back open again as well! So funny with Charlotte on the log flume, a bit laugh out loud moment, me and my mum loved it
The zip wire is permanently closed and is due to be dismantled, when funds available the bottom area will be improved, the racing cars were too expensive to run with staffing and maintenance and not environmental friendly, also the monorail was high cost and simply no longer viable ,the money from these they brought the new ride ,also big names are due to appear in 2022 With the wicksteed open air theatre though cancelled this year due to covid, also the clip and climb is closed, disappointed that you both didn't do the dropslide I have and I am 49! Though when I worked there we had people in their 60's and 70's on it
Last went to Wicksteed park back in 1986. Moved from Northamptonshire back to Kent. But my local play ground has equipment made by wicksteed. Wish I lived back at Raunds....
"no bumping" dodgems are really sad to see and honestly just leads to drivers getting into arguments over what was and wasn't too far - I'll never really understand it
They are literally called bumper cars in most parts of the World. That's just an excuse to not maintain the ride. Especially when I think how crazy they are operated on european fairgrounds it's an absolute joke what some themepark prohibit in that ride type.
its amazing to see you support smaller parks especially ones rich with history wicksteed park is my local park only a 15 min drive so find it nice bigger people supporting this local entertainment
my local theme park growing up, spent many happy hours here on school trips and family days out so it’s great to see the park still going and getting better after the difficulties it’s faced in recent years
Fancy a swim Charlotte ? No! Hahahahah love her ! makes me lol, love it when she gets grumpy And the you got Shawn I love they still have this ride OOOO A DRAGON FLY . Hahaha brilliant pair
My local park. Was just watching one of you latest vlogs and wondered how big the pirate ship was compared to wonderland. 🤣🤣not been to wicksteed for years. My mates lives near it.staple when I was a kid, I am 51 so years ago I use to go.
about 40 years ago mum and dad used to take me there for days out on a Sunday, the park has changed a bit since then, but it brings back great memories.
278k subs woooooop another great long blog by you both nice to see the water chute is still alive and the go karts it's needs a bit investment to catch up to the big boy parks
When was little every park you went in anywhere in the UK the Slide, swings, Seesaw, roundabout and so on all said Wicksteed on them. They made our childhood fun and whereas important to us as Xbox's and Playstations are to kids today.
Love this park . So many school trips as it was local to where I grew up . Always used to go on the double pirate ship for most of the day when the wristbands came in . I was also once on the old water shoot when it came off the rails (cable snapped ) can’t remember exactly what happened was about 1983 . I say old water chute as by the mid ninetys there were two new ones . We went about two years ago as my Husband had never been . So sad to see what it had become . But glad it is back and recovering
I love watching these videos where Charlotte is on a water ride and she comes off soaked to the bone and grumpy that is really funny to watch because when you asked her if she was all right she was like NO
I remember coming here for my birthday as a kid and rode the Dinosaur Valley Roller Coaster back when it had no themeing and was just called "Roller Coaster". It seemed a lot bigger at the time than it does in this vid! 😂
Nice little family park and a bit of a throw back, as it's nowhere near as commercial as most? Bought some, made to order, pottery from one of the independent shops there years ago. Couple of decent Ale pubs in easy walking distance too. Reminds me a little of Chessington 40 odd years ago but without the zoo?
I loved this place when i was a kid , my nan use to take me here every summer. I use to love the roller costa and the pirate ship thing that gone now Memories .
Great Vlog, I was in Liseberg today. Unfortunaly Balder was Closed due to maintenance work. But still had a great time, we werd even allowed to stay seeted on Helix and got 2 Night rides in a row!
Anouther great place idea to go : Clacton peri it hasn’t got a lot of rides but it’s got : Miami , twister / sizzler , The log floom and they are building the looping coaster and the Walker is coming back and It’s my local and it’s very nice! love you guys !
Ah throw back to Wicksteed I managed the thrill zone for 18 years and was involved in building the log flume, left last year and moved to Ireland more investment has been made since your visit I witnessed you walking around
You should go to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, they have a steam train and even a goat park where you can walk though and stroke the goats! I'm sure Charlotte would love it! #GoatParkWorldwide
That little blonde haired boy on one of the rides that you and Shawn have been looks like a young me LOL because as you and Shawn know, I now have brown hair. That parrot made me laugh. Or Shawn could have sang Charlie Chalk on that circus ride as did you used to watch Charlie Chalk as a little girl as I did? It’s very good that the park has continued to open after the administration so no messing. Anyway, make sure you and Shawn get out there and keep on riding.😊
Wicksteed is my childhood themepark, childrens wristbands have always cost more, think it might be because it's more aimed at children then adults. I'm so happy that it never closed down, defo gonna take my boys 😊
Galaxy Invaders is officially known as a "Ramba Zamba" ride, I didn't know they still made them! Nice Bertazzon "Berlin" dodgem cars, shame you can't bump, bit over cautious :/ Hrubetz lifting Paratrooper, LOL! the honeypot bears!!! I would spin the crap out of it as well! Nice waveswinger, gallopers looks like a modern copy of a Savages gallopers. Those mini jets look pretty old, great park, never been here before. I live in Norwich and Gt Yarmouth is 30 minutes drive away, weirdly my name is charlotte as well! charlotte the flat ride nerd, lol
I think Charlotte really likes water chutes & water rides in reality lol, I think she is putting it on lol. Especially as she says she won't go on any, but still goes on them, we see her reactions which are funny to watch sometimes & yeah think she secretly enjoys them. From what I have watched anyways, quite comical to watch when she screams onride aswell when she thinks her shirt will protect her from the water. Nope it doesn't, because it goes through, still resulting in wet hair. But all jokes aside, really good video, loved how fast your were spinning Shawn on that spinning ride, you looked like a cartoon character on a spinner ride, was quite funny & comical but weird to watch, but cool aswell. Got a good selection of coasters & attractions at this park, would love to see a new developed permanent coaster added here maybe a GCI Wooden Coaster as think that would fit into nature, landscaping of park aswell immersive theming and compacted. Would be epic addition, aswell would love to see maybe more trains running around miniature railway circuit? With steam engines? Maybe even a longer layout? But apart from this, really good vlog, really comedy gold, loved it and can't wait in future for more. About songs you come up with, maybe should consider in my opinion getting them recorded to help charity? Or for profit or both? Especially goat song? Needles, created two singles, could release an album for charity purposes or profit? But again cheers & thanks. 😀👍
Hi guys , the last time we was There was 25 years ago with our sons , we are going back Thursday 16th June 2022 with our Grandson we also met Wicky Bear hope he is still going , thanks for the Video well done Kind Regards PT
I’m from the local area of the park, and one time in year 6 my school went on a trip there, my mate got me soaked on the log flume so I chased him off. But besides that, I usually go to the park to hang with mates.
A local park to me, it's so cool seeing you visit this park which I've been visiting for as long as I can remember. I have pictures of me on that ladybug ride when I was super small and the now themed dino coaster was one of the first 'big' roller coasters I ever went on. I'm so glad they've pulled through administration and remain open still
27:02 wikkies is my local park and honestly so many people jump in the lake, they always have and it’s funny cause I’ve never really thought anything of it but I guess to non-locals it would look a bit weird lol :)
Hi shawn and Charlotte Wow what a beautiful park i wish we had more of these in the UK. I really enjoyed this so funny on the log flume poor Charlotte. You both really make me smile thankyou for sharing with us love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx

Glad someone else noticed, I thought the quality was poor on last few vlogs. Andy your quality and footage is always spot on as you change the resolution accordingly. Drone is super quality too 👌
21:09 absolutely sent me, there he goes 🤣
I loved when the parrot said “hello mate”. I had to rewatch it a couple times 😂🥰
It seemed like a missed opportunity to have it say Theme Park Worldwide.
When I went the parrot was always saying yellow mate apart from the flume and coaster the birds were the best bit
used to go as a kid in the 70s, we lived not far in Woburn sands. I loved the train and the water shoot and all the big slides. Glad the train is still there, it used to scare me when it went over the water.

Thanks for sharing! It’s a nice family addition to the park!
Calling the coaster Pinfari would serve as a warning normally. The rename was a good idea!
Haven't been to one of my favourite local parks in ages 😢 need to get back here at some point soon!
What amazes me about Charlotte is she says she doesn't like Intense rides, but then goes on all the massive n super intense looking coasters in Poland.....the wooden one , was it called Zelda or something? ... She loved that and it looked INSANE!!

A soaking on log flume then paratrooper to dry urself off lol Charlotte's reaction was epic
Charlotte can be the next star comedian on a water ride. 😂🤣😅
Good To See That Wicksteed Park Survived And Now Is Becoming Even Better With Lots Of Improvements 👍🏻😎

Agreed. It just looked silly and zero fun!

Jump scare works. I jumped, and I'm sat dry at home!!!! "You're not riding like that" "I am!" And she did!! ha ha!
Love this!

Didn't realise it was having so many problems, even before covid, until I heard James Ancaster talking about it a year or so ago.

The ladybug coaster was my first ever!:)
I've not been there for years and years!
Shawn on the honey pot bear and Charlotte on the log flume 😂😂
Got to have a good spin!
Think the clown coaster used to be located at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Beaver Creek years ago

After watching your review with my family we have just enjoyed a lovely day here today! Brilliant value! The Galaxy ride was awesome! 😁
Glad to see this park attracting a lot of people, that log flume really got Charlotte!
You gone on the water shoot, yes I remember that.
Lovely park and vlog. It was so cute when the parrot was talking back to you.
It was lovely!
I actually jumped when the water bombs went off on the log flume. I was expecting some kind of animatronic instead.
Such a jump scare!
Hi shawn and Charlotte Wow what a beautiful park i wish we had more of these in the UK. I really enjoyed this so funny on the log flume poor Charlotte. You both really make me smile thankyou for sharing with us love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Thanks Tracey!
Looked a fun day out , poor charlotte on the log flume lol ( ive only got a few little dots ha ha ha ) great video as always 🙂👍
Happy rollercoaster day 🎢
Oh my! The jump scare actually scared me
Wicksteed looks like such a lovely place. It really has something for every age group.
We went on Dinosaur Valley today, I thought my fillings were going to get shaken out!
I was waiting for that tea cup to come flying off.
I was thinking of going for a walk around there yesterday, always weird seeing somewhere local on the internet.
That place is home to my first ever coaster credit, the ladybird themed coaster when I was probably 2 or 3
Charlotte was hilarious in this vlog Haha!
I’m literally going here today (Sunday) and it’s 2am and I’m searching it up to see if I’ll like it-
cant wait to get out to some parks again, been stuck inside on this stupid 2 weeks isolation from the app, THEN THE DAY IT ENDS, .... THEY TAKE THE RULE AWAY FOR DOUBLE VAXED, cant be assed lmao. anyway cant wait for some coasters again
Lol never been this early for a vlog 😂😂 Charlotte and Shawn are just too cute lol 😆😂

We’re using a different camera at the moment as the Sony is getting serviced
Haven’t been for a while but definitely enjoyed the park when I went.
It’s a nice family park

They did indeed!
