I started today to. I was quite lucky because i had physics and that is a lot easier this year with the equation sheet and then i had maths which is my best subject so it wasn't to difficult accept 1 question. Good luck🤞
@@serenedagamerxd3046 the way my school allow us in was a bit dumb but its ok now. From what i have experienced the first one you may be worried but its ok after. Also i have found once you have done an exam talk about it a little bit and then just focus on your next one.
Hi Udoka, I bought an iPad Pro 2021 12.9” over the summer and don’t regret it at all! It’s been amazing so far and I also use GoodNotes 5. I would however recommend the Logitech Combo Touch rather than the Magic Keyboard - it’s much better quality and the user experience is very similar (bonus - it’s also a bit cheaper and has a full row of function keys)!
@@manaalaw-abdi5665 I got the 128 gb version, which I believe is perfectly sufficient! I have only used about 40 gb of that so far and if you need more storage, you can always get cloud storage which is much cheaper.
Hi, Im thinking of using my iPad for A Levels (Im going into yr 12), but unsure whether I need paper notebooks and binders, do you only use the iPad or both paper and the iPad?Thanks
Looks like a good setup, however, I’m going old school for A Levels. Textbooks (CGP and also the ones the school provided), exercises books and folders/file dividers. I will probably only use Anki on my laptop for studying, other than that most of the studying will be done on paper and textbooks.
That’s probably a good idea. But I think you should switch to more technology for A2, there’s a lot more notes to take and it might get a bit messy with just taking paper notes.
I also have an iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil, and it is an absolute life saver and such a good study tool. It reduces the need for me to use and waste a lot of paper
Thank you for all your help. i'm in year10 and am just started learning my GSCEs. And you have inspired me to work harder. Thanks so much appreciate it. Btw loved your desk setup video i have made mine slightly better but not as good as yours :)
Ive had my IPad pr0 2018 for 3.5 years now. Everyday use - it’s perfect. 6 hours a day through GCSEs and currently A2 and it’s great. GoodNotes does drain the battery much faster and more storage - after a full day on notability I’ve got about 70-90% left depending on if I’ve done work in my frees and other variables like working on sheets so it’s great. Battery health on the Pro is not a problem - says I’ve got 60% battery health which is good after 3.5 years {your phones battery health is crap after 1 year} but I still get a solid 12 hours battery life. Best investment I’ve made.
I’ve got one as well, but I got the Logitech combo touch instead of the magic keyboard (its better in my opinion, as you can detach the keyboard) Another big benefit of the iPad Pro is that you can do as many past papers and practice questions as you can any with the Apple pencil and it saves you having to print out a shit ton of paper😁
Hey there, I am an igcse student and I watched your videos, it keeps motivating me for studying as well as for Revision. Thank you for helping me and your effort in studies, I appreciate you for the hard work and I wish I could become like you when I pass the cambridge igcse exam 😇😇😇😇😇😇 and good luck in the A LEVEL
another point: past paper practice and worksheets is very easy in my gcse i struggled a lot with printing every paper i did which for me is very hard to manage and organize so yeah
goodnotes also has a flashcard option which is great :D and it remembers which ones you struggled with so next time you open the flashcards it gives you those ones first !!
Great video mate I started watching you towards the end of year 9 and and your were doing your mocks and now I’m in year 10 sitting my mock and I go back to watch your revision videos and it’s a big help thanks a lot love the iPad and I may consider investing In it
hi, another amazing video ( actually everyone of them are so good and high quality) but i wish you uploaded more frequently like once every 2 or 1 week
I am thinking of getting either a laptop or an iPad Pro (with some accessories) as my first “computer?”. I’m still in high school. I don’t know if they allow like an iPad, but I surely know they don’t allow a laptop in class. But even with that I’m still not sure on what to get first. But right now I am going towards a laptop, just because it can do a lot more. Tho not note taking, and that’s why I’m still think of getting an iPad. I guess I can save again and get a cheaper iPad next year. I would like to know your opinion on which one should I get.
Udoka, i just got an apple pen and a paper like screen protector for studying and notetaking, but i was just wondering what you think about the apple notes app?
I’m starting my a levels next year and I am thinking of using my iPad for note taking. I need to get a Bluetooth keyboard for it as it’s the 2018 iPad so there isn’t a magic keyboard model for it. This has been really helpful I just know need to check that my school is fine with it. Do you generally write or type your notes?
I'm in year 11 and in all my classes, at least half of the students have these and/or macs, so I'm assuming it must come in really handy hehe. Alas I can only look on with envy with my old school pen and paper and a gazillion books 😂
Hey, your videos are great. I was wondering if you could make a video about how you organise your subject binders, prepare when starting a new course/subject and also because of covid I've been having more long-term type assessments like essays so how you would organise your time for essays as opposed to examinations? :)
i have the an ipad 6th gen and cheaper apple alternative which altogether is around 400 which is alright but i am tempted to get ipad pro 12.9 jus cuz of the screen size. But love the video bro.🙌
Just started the Leaving Cert course that September (Irish equivalent of A-Levels). It’s tough for us as we have to do 7 subjects (Maths, Irish, English mandatory) and then 4 other subjects, such as Biology or Economics ect. but most of us get on grand, lots of study though. Great Video btw, would love to have an IPad Pro for my LC haha
@conor melbourne I didn’t do a JC mock or exam cause of Covid just to be clear, so I can’t give much advice for the actual exam on the day. If It was me again I would start studying most nights but only do like 20 or 30 mins a night, and just do it in small chunks as well as focusing on one topic for about 15 minutes (eg. you just do quadratic equations or R+J quotes!). Imo its better to do a very small amount every night rather then cramming as it’ll be much more beneficial for your actual JC exam as your way more likely to forget the information from cramming (cramming is only for those little tests here and there). If you need any tips or motivation just watch some study videos they’ll do the job for ya
Hey Udoka, Im not sure whether to take typed up notes or write my notes on a tablet. Typing it seems better cos i can type notes into anki directly and not waste time making flashcards
Is it too late if I start to revise before mock exam? Also, how to be more productive if I’m a student boarder because I don’t get used to the school timetable? :(
