tppo’s comment: This video was my journey of re-learning how to draw after a 6 months break, as I prepared to enter Genshin Impact Profession Inspiration Fan Art Contest. Come along as I dive into studies of anatomy, composition, gesture, and color!
HoYoFair, in collaboration with pixiv Inc., is organizing the illustration contest "Teyvat Fashion Week" from March 31st to April 30th, 2024, 11:59 pm JST. This contest invites submissions of illustrations featuring Genshin Impact characters dressed in various uniforms related to different professions, including school uniforms. The grand prize winner will receive 2,000 USD and an XPPen Magic Drawing Pad, with the possibility of their artwork being displayed at an offline exhibition!
To hype up this illustration contest, a collaboration with tppo, a creator with over 300,000 subscribers on RUclips known for producing videos analyzing and explaining illustrations from various perspectives, has been announced. Together, they've released a video that explores character modeling and fashion design, with a sequel planned for release on tppo's channel. Stay tuned!

So happy to see tppo back! Always been a huge inspiration for me. For the contest it would be so cool to see Amber as a race car driver ,kinda like racer Miku. Since she is so invested into racing it made more sense to me than a pilot would, plus the outfit could be extremely cute thise was.

This is literally my call, i saw this event a week ago and started to plan things out but then my plate's full. I really thought i could pull off my plan and composition but seeing this video made me realize that i really lacked the fundamentals.
My initial idea is Albedo wearing a jumper like a painter with Sucrose at the back as a researcher wearing a lab gown. I thought of using the triangles composition and make Albedo pose painting on a canvas while Sucrose is at the back(?)

#TeyvatFashion razor is my favorite character and i've thought a lot about what skin i would like him to get and i came up with something i think would be really good. so the skins have a small bit of lore behind them right, so i thought it would be cute if maybe klee helped make a jacket with a hood on it similar to what he already has but with little sown-on ears similar to sayus hood. obviously thats not enough for a whole outfit so i decided the theme would be like red riding hood-ish so maybe they were putting on a play or something and razor played the part of the wolf!

If tppo is in the comments, I’d like to suggest using thumbnails! They’re basically miniature sketches of what you’re planning to draw and you can change them as much as you want without committing to the final piece. Personally, they’ve made my art so much better.
