My friends & I only started playing Void Crew about a month ago so it's really exciting to see new stuff already! Thank you for lots of awesome game nights already and we're looking forward to seeing what's next...as well as one day figuring out if we're actually the bad guys.

That description of how DLSS works...10/10 would recommend
You need to make some adjustments to endless for people who want to play much longer sessions. Primarily, allow mission rewards to be given after every mission, rather than at the end, so people don't have to stay til the end to get any credit. This actually makes it hard on the host when people start wanting to end just so they can get rewards.
Agreed, the way Update 5 is at the moment outright punishes people who want to play for shorter game sessions (15-30) like we could literally just a few days ago. Only getting rewarded for killing bosses is insane design and creates artificial scarcity in loot.

I would LOVE to be able to use a bigger ship, but it's impossible without 4 people. Having AI would really help with that, I am very excited for AI turrets.
Me and my husband currently use the Lone ship with 2 AI turrets.

Sometimes the Sarcograph doesn't do a stellar job in printing ectype brains... and the decisions made with such conditions might be questionable.
...but the hands are usually functional!

Would like to land in some planets and explore
So we’re the regular short missions removed in favour of pilgrimages or am I missing something
We’ve moved all objective & difficulty choices out of the HUB
During the Pilgrimage, you’re given the option to choose between different objectives with corresponding difficulties on every Void Jump.
You can also skip Objectives you don’t want to play, if you want to get to the Bossfight faster
...In the next update we intend: Adding Meta Quests (Dailies etc), catering to players who prefer or need to play shorter runs.

Endless Pilgrimage being the only, mandatory game mode means everyone who wanted to just jump on for 15 minutes or half an hour with friends is SOL - it takes an actual hour to get to a boss.
The reward rate, on average, is now a full quarter of what it was a few days ago. Not cool bros. Hope you consider changing it back in light of the incoming negative review wave.

Let me clarify a bit, as well as give you insights into our plans so that you can better envision where we're moving in terms of meta-progression & rewards with Void Crew...
In this Update:
- We’ve increased the XP payouts (primarily when you defeat bosses) and added Gifts of METEM to all rank ups.
- Each Boss Objective completed during a Pilgrimage rewards a Rare Gift of Victory - you can earn these over and over.
- You can skip any non-boss objective you want to rush your way to the bosses, which will make exp farming and cosmetic hunting possible if you and your team manage
That's been done to offset the removal of 1/2 objectives runs, which always were in a weird spot for us design wise. Nonetheless, we're still not satisfied ourselves and have more plans, which is why...
In the next Update:
- We’ll be adding Meta Quests, such as Career Achievements and Time-limited Assignments (i.e. Dailies, Weeklies, etc.)
- The selection of Meta Quests will include some catered to players who prefer or need to play shorter runs:
There will be a recurring Daily Quest to complete your first objective of the day, which will reward you with a Gift of METEM with better duplicate protection than the “old” purely random Gifts of METEM that were handed out for the old “limited objective count Pilgrimages”.
Hope that provided some clarity. We're a small indie studio and can't really make the game cater to everybody, and we embrace that, but I personally believe we're well aligned with tackling the issue you're bringing to the table :)
