- The Haussermann family still in the orchid business for 85 years. George Haussermann and his wife decided to relocate to Florida 17 years ago and now with their son Quinton they have a beautiful nursery, almost like a miniature theme park, in Deland, Florida. Today we visit this wonderful place and we interview both George and Quinton. The visit was so exciting and extensive that we had to split the video in two.

Sergio and Vicky, what an absolute find and so close to your home, only an hour's drive away. I already messaged my friend to make a trip up there for the day. We'll find a food truck and have a chance to view everything they have in their variety store nursery. I can't wait to watch your video E.F.G.'s Nursery Part 2.
Thanks, Debb. When you come up here, let us know. Perhaps you can visit us or we can meet up there. Thank you always for your support and love. BTW, part 2 is out 🤣🤣😘😘

I LOVE E.F.G. Orchids!! Not just because they are close to me, but they have a nice variety of Orchids, Aroids, Cacti, and so much more. I'm glad to see that you guys are getting to enjoy this place too. Everyone is so helpful and they know what they are talking about when conversing with them. Oh, and since I didn't win the raffle, I hope you guys did. 😊
It's definitely a beautiful place and great people. We did not win the raffle either 🤨🤨🤨

❤😂I just love your vibe 🎉 your banter 😂❤you too are a beautiful couple 😊
Aw, you are so sweet. Thanks so much 💖
Oh, I think that is a Maidenhair fern you were looking at. I have tried so many but they really like high humidity. I can only keep them in my grow tents and in terrariums.
Hi, do you mean the one we call Australian Fern?
@@vickyslikes Not the Australian Fern, there was another fern that you guys were looking at, it's one that you see in the show displays with orchids a lot.
Oh, now we know what you are talking about. Thanks, we didn't know its name 😊
Thanks for the tour you two.
Interesting fact though, not all vanilla is made from the vanilla plant. You won't believe me but you can google it, since we have such a big population worldwide we do not produce all our vanilla or vanillin from the vanilla plant anymore. These days it is synthetically produced from petroleum. That's right, vanilla ice cream is derived from petroleum.
Hi, Tom. Yes, we know about vanilla, but that's why the real extract is very expensive. Thanks so much, Tom, for always giving us a piece of your brain. Appreciate you.
Hi do u know if dey ship to trinidad.tanks
Hi, we asked, and unfortunately, they do not. Thanks so much for watching from Trinidad 🤗💓
