5:155:355:50 It's the intro from "Gongo Aso" by 9ice and he's saying "I'm back at ya" with an echo filter on the actual song. Also it's a REALLY good song.
8:45 90% sure that photo's taken on some version of Gran Turismo guessing by the car model and general style, probably HD Concept considering the 2008 timeframe
I remember this design... Back then, my brother used to have it. Because of the touch screen, I thought it was so cool. So, what I do is I sneak in and secretly play with it, I had so much fun with it... Seeing this video made me feel nostalgic.
Reminds me of the Nokia E50 with its small screen, keypad design and metal covers. There are still some differences though. MT6261DA is a much newer SoC so this one couldn't be using one. Older phones often used something like MT6253, MT6225 or MT6223.
ok i have to say it: "enjoy" your "ainol" and "pipi", and if you want, eat a "pcoc". you are "welcome"! well that was pretty bad, like really bad. i listened through all the ringtones with my headphones and man, my ears are dead. totally worthy tho, just for the mediatek funeral service lol. i wonder how much sh!t they were smoking for doing this "thing"...
The last image of a soccer player on the bootscreen is lifted from samsung pre installed photos for their cellphones around 2005-6 Main menu icons are taken from Nokia 's Symbian S60 v3 default icons, not s40
Sounds like a clickbait-title: "15 STUNNING ANIMATIONS, NUMBER 6 WILL AMAZE YOU" (because they forgot to add it) 16:55 VHS-C has way better quality than this 🤣
A pretty cool phone for its time. Even bootleg copies were fairly well made. The camera was quite good too. Some ok photos . Dervla , one of my cats, sends "The Look" to Ripley. I have no idea what it meant, but the look she gave me was beyond my comprehension. Lol Glad you didn't kill it though 😂❤
huh...that "him" picture is vincent valentine from final fantasy 7... BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!! specifically, it's a cropped picture of the front case of the game final fantasy 7 dirge of cerebus. a 3rd person shooter with vince mcvalentine (wwe ref?) that i quite like, but most gamers think is a bit below average. it's actually a perfectly crommulant ps2 game, but that makes it a bit sub par for a ff7 game
Angry Bees was a short-lived spinoff of Angry Birds. And then the murder beez happened, and those deadly riots in Applebee's (they ran out of cole slaw) happened, and the idea got shelved.
Oh my god That phone reminds me of my first ever phone, except mine was bigger. I feel like the more you do these phones the more likely you'll end up reviewing the exact one.
Shane, days ago I had seen a video from 2009 showing some Spanish guy dialing a specific dial code on a MT622x phone and then it opens up a "Mythroad" menu where you can emulate NES games in, but sadly I can't remember the dial code
I hope this V10 has enough torque to carry through my muddy calls and able to handle the heavy wording and doesn't get stuck, when my significant other gets upset and yells in frozen baikal lake language to me. I didn't watch the whole video yet, but even the I4 turbocharged volvo redblock engine from 1983 240 GLT can't even come close to this vroomer of a badass diesel phone. It's very close to rusty Ural 375 from my in-laws level, but doesn't have enough grip to handle some real calls.
Nokia 8110 4G camera (for stills) is good enough to use for photographical challenges, but this looks like one of those dirt cheap early 00's keychain digital cameras.
I think you could have better just hooked up a usb to uart converter to the RX and Tx paths on the back of the phome to see if you can get some boot info and maybe can see what it has to say while its booting
OMG I remembered I have these kind of phone, brand e-mobile (edit : it was generic branding, so mine was e-mobile, but I googled it, the model I have is A968 tv mobile phone), it has analog tv tuner where can watch tv on the go, and the janky menu like Nokia Symbian OS. Adding few icons on the bottom part of screen as shortcut really makes it look crazy tech. Using the touchscreen is the worst experience, reflecting to nowadays touch digitizer. Phone Storage was around KBs LMAO. They expect us to fit an SD card to be able to take pictures and videos.

The song used for boot audio is Gongo Aso by 9ice. Still no idea what the hell he's saying though
It’s this one
ruclips.net/video/i0ZMaGVJF-Y/видео.htmlsi=3PHW2GKMrpiKzcZr
AYYY that's it. Thank you!
That's the one, thank you! We know it's YEAH but...whatever next lol
EDIT: it's "Yeah, I'm back at y'all"
That "YEAH! I'm back at y'all" is hilarious! This sounds like a bootleg Jamaican phone!
5:15 5:35 5:50 It's the intro from "Gongo Aso" by 9ice and he's saying "I'm back at ya" with an echo filter on the actual song. Also it's a REALLY good song.
I GUESSED RIGHT
8:55 That's Vincent from Finaly Fantasy VII. To be more precise, it's the cover art of Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII on the Playstation 2.
The boot audio for this device is taken from the song Gongo Aso by 9ice
Song from 2008, matches up with the time period this is from.
8:55
Vincent from FFVII Dirge of Cerberus
& Hiiiii Smoorez. Watching u rn at work lol
8:45 90% sure that photo's taken on some version of Gran Turismo guessing by the car model and general style, probably HD Concept considering the 2008 timeframe
It looks a lot like the dodgy "CECT" phones from back in the day, they also used the small touchscreen with hard shortcuts at the bottom.
I remember this design... Back then, my brother used to have it. Because of the touch screen, I thought it was so cool. So, what I do is I sneak in and secretly play with it, I had so much fun with it... Seeing this video made me feel nostalgic.
yay! you should make more the_phone_archive videos!
1:05 and those ringtones are those standard mediatek ringtones
7:45 lmao The I.T. Crowd reference!
I love these rambly videos. Watched every second.
Reminds me of the Nokia E50 with its small screen, keypad design and metal covers. There are still some differences though.
MT6261DA is a much newer SoC so this one couldn't be using one. Older phones often used something like MT6253, MT6225 or MT6223.
And MT6226. Can't forget that one
it looks more like 6500 classic to me
A V10 phone? I do hope it sounds ENJOYable
ok i have to say it: "enjoy" your "ainol" and "pipi", and if you want, eat a "pcoc". you are "welcome"!
well that was pretty bad, like really bad. i listened through all the ringtones with my headphones and man, my ears are dead. totally worthy tho, just for the mediatek funeral service lol. i wonder how much sh!t they were smoking for doing this "thing"...
I think it says Yeeee,i'm back at ya 🤣
8:58 That's Vincent from Final Fantasy 7 from the Final Fantasy series (obviously) lol I don't know why I expected you to know that.
The last image of a soccer player on the bootscreen is lifted from samsung pre installed photos for their cellphones around 2005-6
Main menu icons are taken from Nokia 's Symbian S60 v3 default icons, not s40

20:48 No Java support doesn't mean that MRE/VXP files won't work, you should probably try to run it without deciding that it might not work.
The birthday thing got me, amazingly shit midi, thank you for the birthday wishes and laughs!
Angry Bees was a short-lived spinoff of Angry Birds.
And then the murder beez happened, and those deadly riots in Applebee's (they ran out of cole slaw) happened, and the idea got shelved.
When the dog started to bark my cat was like WTF is that lol....always enjoy the videos!
Oh my god
That phone reminds me of my first ever phone, except mine was bigger.
I feel like the more you do these phones the more likely you'll end up reviewing the exact one.
Those ringtones at full volume were horrendously bad,but somehow I wouldn’t have them any other way.
Shane, days ago I had seen a video from 2009 showing some Spanish guy dialing a specific dial code on a MT622x phone and then it opens up a "Mythroad" menu where you can emulate NES games in, but sadly I can't remember the dial code
spanish, russian or the whole european community were amazing in hacking these phones, sadly the forums are hard to find
It also has another name: ZHONGYI ZY920
Very enjoyable
I hope this V10 has enough torque to carry through my muddy calls and able to handle the heavy wording and doesn't get stuck, when my significant other gets upset and yells in frozen baikal lake language to me.

I think the boot audio says im back at you in an accent of some kind. strange thing thats for sure
You look good these days! I like the haircut
Great videos m8
I was really surprised by how smooth and beautiful the phone is.
means just for you in nigerian
Actually it's "I'm back at ya". 😁
i made this up
@@mikenewbold1699 Jiggy Priest
Reported for n word
Is this the phone that prince always calles me on?
Still waiting on my $16,000,000,000.
Nokia 8110 4G camera (for stills) is good enough to use for photographical challenges, but this looks like one of those dirt cheap early 00's keychain digital cameras.
yeaaah, i'm back to you
It remind me a bit of Nokia 6500 classic.... after visiting nuclear waste site...
Also: YEAAAH Im bark at you! (but with uganda accent) :D
8:46 Grand tourismo
Is it saying "Evocative" on startup?
N70.. i grew up with it.. this is such a funny clone of it..
4:46
looks like N70 crossed with E-Series
and E50 has 2-inch non-touch screen
I like this version. Rather than current version with hells bells 😂
I would of totally loved this device back in 08, definitely couldn't afford the iPhone back then 😅
8:49 This wallpaper is from Windows Vista.
No Duak sim at this time?:( You let me down, so I'll just tell you: "yeaaah imbackatya"
lmao the imei on this phone which indicates that this is made by Shenzhen Daxian Pentech Communication Co Ltd (2003), and the model name is x339
I think you could have better just hooked up a usb to uart converter to the RX and Tx paths on the back of the phome to see if you can get some boot info and maybe can see what it has to say while its booting
~~~Welcome to MTK Bootloader V4 (since 2005)~~~
this is your loudest phone yet... poor little speaker, you can almost hear it just wanting to die.
i used chinnese phone growing up and most of reset password are 1122, 1111, 1212 or something with 1 and 2 combination 4 to 6 digits
legendary mahjong soundtrack
It’s funny how you say “Phorne”
21:00 magic sushi moment
8:49 pinched from windows Vista
The start is "im back at ya" in a Jamaican accent.
The guy in the wallpapers was Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII!
Super zoom it up my dudes
OMG I remembered I have these kind of phone, brand e-mobile (edit : it was generic branding, so mine was e-mobile, but I googled it, the model I have is A968 tv mobile phone),
Default wallpaper 2 is from Windows Vista.
A very ENJOYable Video!
can you dump that intro midi?
HAHAHA IREMEMEBR TJE BOOT SOUND FROM THE LIVESTREAM AHHAHAHA
Hey there!
7:03 I laughed so hard because I heard it as well
Try 1212 or 1122, those are the basic passwords for those mediatek clones (even sciphone etc)
yeaaaaa yeaaa yeaaaa i'll bark at you, i'll bark at you!
Some Ericsson/Sony Ericsson phones looked similar to that kind of key setup.
Amazing
The shutdown is the startup and shutdown of my NOKIA Clone 3310
when u pulled out the battery it was so quiet lol
18:53 crispy audio
I thought it is some sort of Sony Ericsson clone.
Edit: untill I saw the icons.
25:41 nostalgia
What does he mean when he says he got it from e-waste? Does he mean like an electronics recycling facility? Can you even buy stuff from those?
yes.
@mewity I had no idea
I have the susan m5 ringtone on my device :p sample_2 :D
Enjoy 🍾
Maybe try Nokia default security password 12345 or 00000?
Whenever I see the videos, I think what a terrible camera. And something even more terrible always appears. How far will it go?
it looks like Nokia N73 or N70 more and for the pin code try 1122
3:40 it want to be a oppo
The photos all look fisheyed, so odd
Think it says "invocative"
This phone has vCards? Damn, I lost mine.
This phone looks like a clone of Nokia N70/N72.
That operating system gave me nostalgia because i've had that kind of OS, typical chinese ripoff device
I have the « I know f-58 » mobile phone
kinda resembles the n70/n91 abit
Yeeeep first!
Close
This one is more like I'd say N70.
pretty sure thats a knok off SonyEricsson K800
27:17 ... 2 Welcomes 1 Phone? 💩
