Honestly I remember watching the fight and was surprised by how much better DC was than the first fight and I had DC winning 2 rounds (maybe 3? Unsure when the fight got stopped) I had DC winning the fight until the head kick.

Even now, This should go down as the greatest rivalry in fighting.
If Jones had fought more than once in the last 2 years, I'd pick him against Cormier 10 out of 10 times. But rust is going to be a factor and Cormier has been active. Being off timing by just a second can be costly in MMA, especially when dealing with a wrestler who can strike a little.
