mia, i absolutely love your videos! can’t wait for nyc vlogs to come back! 🥰 - oh and i didn’t get into nyu, unfortunately. 😢 i still have a bunch of schools to hear from but nyu was my dream school. idk if i should apply again next year if i don’t get into any of the schools i applied to because i feel so late, i graduated hs in dec 21' and only applied to college this year 😢
I’m so sorry to hear about that ❤️🩹:( I believe everything happens for a reason and college acceptance rates are getting more and more competitive every year- it’s horrible. If Nyu is where you want to be, I would say definitely apply again! Whether you decide to start somewhere else now or not, you can always apply as a new student again or a transfer student

hi! i saw ur film projects that got you into nyu a while ago and became absolutely obsessed with ur work (following on everything lol and verrrryy inspired by you) im kinda doing the opposite, im from aus and want to study in america and perhaps nyc and its so cool seeing you in syd haha! - i wanna get into something similar with yt ect, pursuing design at uni this year and wanting to pursue creative projects on the side - i was just wondering what camera you use for ur vlogs/ everyday videos - do you recommend a actual mirrorless camera or should i just upgrade my iphone instead :)) thanks so much!
Hi!! Thank you, I’m so flattered. Depending on where I am, I use my Sony a6400 for vlogs and switch between my iPhone. I love having a vlog camera with a flip up screen to watch myself with, but an iPhone is definitely a great place to start out with and see how you like it!!
