1st almost looked like a stocked tiger trout. Which is done to limit overpopulation of smaller trout- (where fish are skinny, not enough food to support). Tiger trout are usually way cooler looking than that thing, but they're half brown & half brook
My friend has a huge lake on her property in Lambertsville, NJ. Nobody ever fishes there. I heard the NJ state record crappie came from that lake, years ago. An, I saw a giant bass looking fish in it one day feeding off a deer carcass. We think the deer must have fallen through the ice during the winter and died. I wish I knew how to fish good. Someone told me a lake like that has what they call "dumb Bass" that are easy to catch, because they have never been caught before. But, I don't know how true that is. So, I keep watching these kind of fishing videos to try and learn how to catch fish. Then maybe I'll try to go fish on her lake one day LOL. Thanks for all your videos. I enjoy watching them.
The place with the cows looks familiar is it in Radnor township? If it is that place holds a kids derby held by the local police sometime in June. The stream is also stocked by a local club. 3 weeks back Ridley creek was stocked not to far from where you were at too.
I live two minutes up there street from the first spot you fished. Its crazy during opening day there but after that it dies down a lot, did pretty good on that stream this past year.
It was a very rainy and overcast year. My spring ponds struggled to produce plant growth because of low temps. My 30k gal stock tank stayed noticably cooler than previous years despite moving the aerator system out of the deep shade. It may very well be a good year for holdovers.
Hey man I'm a huge fan and if you want to chase as many pike, crappie, bass, and perch that you want, hit me up and I'd love to show you the CT River in Connecticut. Maybe we will get a rogue striper too!
You have it backwards my friend Brown's are not as hardy as rainbows. brown trout can tolerate at best water temps around 68 degrees f where as rainbow are able to take temps up to 77 but are unlikely to survive. They stop growing around 73 degree waters. www.hatchmag.com/articles/trout-and-water-temperature-how-hot-too-hot/771553
Yo money I'm currently in the process of trying to make your sacred whistling a notification sound ! It's officially south jerzeys fish whistle !!! You da man
The snowstorm killed the striper surf bite in southwest CT causing the water temp to drop quickly. Tidal rivers are the key now. Nice relaxing video SM. Should consider late fall crappie and perch fishing before ice arrives.
Good creek action out your way. Tougher to find that where I live. Nice vid! Gotta love those under the bridge Trout or "Troll Trout" as they're called sometimes haha
Sometimes it's the only choice (put & take) , but wish they would stock the appropriate fish to the appropriate waters...Would smallmouth survive and reproduce? Even here in Colorado there are plenty of warm water lakes that they dump trout in...so strange.
Nice browns! Great point you made about the benefits of fishing holdovers. Sometimes its a better experience without big crowds. I actually caught more holdovers than in-season trout this year
Glad you made this video. This was just the inspiration I needed. There's a creek near here I fish in spring for trout but I've not tried it in the fall.
WTG - Yeah Cabin Fever set in about Sept. Think I'll order Neopreems early. I'll need them for Shad. Too old to handle the cold now. Oh Yeah - They're not Cows. Thems Prime Rib!
PA stocked trout fishermen are a weird bunch. They think you can only fish for them in April and May so they crowd up, then they hibernate until the following April.
Hey Chris, just wanna say keep up the great fishing videos! I only follow a select few fishing personalities on RUclips and your vids are by far the most watchable. The video that hooked me was the one of your first trip in Florida, fishing the canals. I went back to the beginning and have watched every video shared to date. Cheers!
@@buzzbait1010 Monmouth beach, yesterday was my best day yet for size wise. Been fishing hard for the past couple months and it's been really bad. Lot of days with no fish at all. I was thinking about going to island beach state park or seaside this Sunday.
Sweet video man, not enough people take advantage of the winter trout fishing one of the best times to get them in my opinion new sub today man🤘 shout out from Ontario 🇨🇦
You need to come out my way.and we can go fishing I'm not to far from philly .I'm about 20 minutes from Lancaster pa. Hopefully soon. I got a nice flew spots.
I just came across your text and I was born and raised in Lancaster. There are plenty of trout waters and all you have to do is get on the Pa fish commissions website and check out the stocking schedule and list of streams for Lancaster county and use google maps to find their locations. There is also more info on special reg. waters too. I personally know of at least 2 doz. streams that have native brook trout and wild brown trout and a lot of them aren't even stocked waters. Lately though, I find myself going up to the Lebanon and Annville area to fish the Quittapahilla CK. and the Reading area to fish the Tulpehocken Ck......just more and bigger water and more fish and less people!
I use to follow all the main fishing youtubers, I stopped once they all started posting retarded videos about nonsense. I gotta say you’re the only one who’s not a googan and stayed true to fishing...Fish on mang👍
"Dude looks human but smells like fish" - cows probably. You did well for such small, heavily pressured streams son! My go to artificial in the fall, bass assassin, the hold-over fish friggen' slam them!
Damn you did good. Same scenario in streams near buffalo N y. Of course we have steelhead and lake run browns. Great idea though.2 inch suspending rapala is a killer.
You guys have the big trout up there. I have visited NY tribs a couple times so far this fall, hope to go a couple more times before winter really sets in
@@ChrisMcIntee yup I've seen those vids. I used to guide on the tribs. Love your vids bud. I gotta get to the coast and get some salt in my life. Maybe next season. Love your vids. Happy Thanksgiving.

No surfcasting for stripes this year? Bait was all over the place today... But dont forget ur thanksgiving day massacre! Its not over! But yeah. Run was a bust this yr.

Nvmd the other browns got the same odd spots that aren't remotely circular. All the browns look very thin in the 1st creek.

good stuff man
Don’t some places also get stocked in November
Second creek maybe the Brandywine?
are you allowed to use eggs?
hah one of my local spots
more trout videos bro!! more trout love
Your video always full of passion on fishing.
The cow whisperer you’re not lol
Looks like you were in Delco
I've found that 1.5" White Mister Twisters are killer for the holdover stockie browns
Dood!! Im in Northeast PA and im gonna get out there tomorrow! I was sceptical about late fall trout but i had a feeling they were out there!!
Give fly fishing a shot for trout makes it much more enjoyable
beautiful scenery
A 2” gulp minnow in smelt color tends to do really well. Put it on a 1/16oz jig head and casting upstream and jogging has always done well for me.
When you guys coming back to WNY??
Nice trout!! Cool looking creeks
Where in PA is this
delaware county, suburbs of philadelphia
Awesome video bro
Go to upper Delaware around narrowvile

rainiest year I can remember. Never saw my local rivers flow so high all year long

Is that darby creek because i know darby creek runs along the highway for parts of it
Do you only have to wet your hands with rainbows?
Should do it w all trout. If you don’t it takes off that layer of slime and basically gives them the equivalent of a sunburn.

Pink worm or olive wooly but that plug worked thanks have to try that
Nice browns! Great point you made about the benefits of fishing holdovers. Sometimes its a better experience without big crowds. I actually caught more holdovers than in-season trout this year
Browns live in 78-79 F waters ok but are dead at 81. Most rainbows completely stop growing past 70 F and are dead in the mid 70’s
Does pa get fall stockings? Cause i know jersey does
we get fall stockings yes, just a few select places get a fall stocking though, like one body of water per county at most.

I was up in pa visiting family and caught an 18 inch rainbow in the dead of July 😂
The fins are purposely clipped at the hatcheries to identify them as stocked trout.
