I was a kid in the 1970s. I attended St Joseph's school on Green Street and went to the church on Union. The area has changed a great deal. Some of it for the better, some not so much, but it is what it is. Estefani's Restaurant use to be Georgia's Pizza, the meat market used to be Lou Ames Music Shop, and my Air Force recruitment center just down from the Social Security Administration is long gone. Oh well.
