I have both sizes of Gelli plates but haven't used them because I really didn't have any ideas to try. Now, I do! Thanks so much for posting this. This video is AWESOME!
LOVE this idea!!!! Thanks for the video! I love my Gelli Plate and everyone I've shown it to does too! We've even used it in the children's Sunday School class at church to make Mother's Day gifts for the moms!
I love this technique! When I tried it I got addicted. What a world of possibilities from this method. Love all your videos! Watch them over and over. When I tried Gelli printing I found my calling. Thanks so much!
That video has just blown my mind! I am new to Gelli plate printing, to learn some of the techniques I have been watching lots of RUclips video tutorials - this is by far the best. You now have a new subscriber and I will be spending many a happy hour watching and trying your amazing tutorials. Many thanks, Chris xx
if you use aluminum repair tape (from hardware store - plumbing dept) instead of aluminum foil, you will have adhesive on the back side, when you are ready to adhere your transfer!
These are awesome. I've watched this video before but it popped up again and I had the idea that one could use a punch and a Xyron machine to make really great stickers out of these. Great for planners or journals or anything else. I'll have to try this.
Now ya got me. I'd been able to resist the call of the Gelli - I like working directly on paper with stencils and masks. But... now ya got me. Got me goooooooooooooooooood.
Long time ago since this was asked I know, but some else might have the same question. It seems to be Golden open acrylic. Open meant it takes a bit longer to dry.
Absolutely love the idea of Gelli Plates.. now if only I could afford one! lol how exactly would you adhere this newly "painted tape" onto card stock, canvas, etc?
UGh, something so small, and yet brilliant. I was thinking "I like the shiny they're showing, but I hate gold. I wonder how much silver foil costs" and then... DUH! Kitchen foil! An entire roll for a $1. DUUUUUUUUHH! Thanks for this bit alone! (though the rest of the vid was great too)
When you say cold laminating film, do you mean you put it through the laminate machine and the use it (when its hard) or use the laminate sheet as is? Thnx
This is FANTASTIC! Thank you SO MUCH for showing us this!!!
If you made an instructional video I'm sure it would be a best-seller. Total immersion.
Gelli plates are so fantastic, I don't know how I ever got along without one. :) This looks amazing, can't wait to try it.
