      But let's forget all of this and it's Rich's fault..
      Look what the U.S. Gaming Tech News Publication Kotaku had to say about this..
      Um Um Um will you take a look at this?? *"Rich was driven to take apart a handheld console cause of it's low memory capacity."*
      Here what others are saying!
      *"Rich needing more storage must of influence him!!"*

    I think I'm happy with my Steam Deck, I think something like this could make sense if you don't have a powerful PC or laptop...
    I bought the cheapest model Deck fully planning to upgrade the SSD immediately, but I mostly just played Indie/ small/ old games off SD, it's working perfectly. I'll play games like Cyberpunk on my PC. I'll still probably throw a 1TB NVME in it later, now that I'm using Desktop mode and downloading other stuff the 64GB drive is filling up. I might also look into dual booting Windows for a little more compatibility with the non Steam games.

    • @amit_patel654
      @amit_patel654 Год назад +2

      Yup, I did the same thing. I bought the 64gb Steam Deck, a 1Tb 2230 Samsung NVMe SSD ($70), and a 512gb microSD ($50) all for a total of $550.
      Installing the SSD is easy, but delicate work. Also, if you do upgrade it, keep the original 64gb SSD! If you ever need to RMA your Deck for any reason, you'll have to put it back in before you send it.

      So I ask: what's all this "stress" you're going on about?
      And no, I couldn't have gotten a ROG Ally before it came out.

    • @Wooskii1
      @Wooskii1 7 месяцев назад

      @@LemonRush7777 Yup, that's exactly what I do also, but I play the intensive games on my laptop or PC.
      If I didn't have a laptop I would definitely think about getting an Ally for longer travel/ vacation, but the Deck is doing great with the smaller arcade style games that I like to jump in and out of really quickly while close to home.
      It's like:
      Home AAA- PC/ Laptop
      Home quick games- Deck/ 3DS
      Running around town- 3DS/ Deck
      Visiting nearby family- Deck/ 3DS
      Visiting far family- Deck/ Laptop

No idea why people still think that's a thing, I changed parts of like 20 PC's and build them all and not a single time did I break a PC with static electricity.
