D’oh! I didn’t even realize that I left one thing out. For sake of brevity, you also have the torque split adjustment (in yellow), which can only be used on specific 4WD cars (see Gr. B) to alter how the power is sent to the drive wheels (more to the front or to the rear wheels). I see it so rarely I forgot to add it to this video.
The MT icon just shows that the transmission is in manual mode, and the flashing red indicator above that is the gear indicator. This gives you an idea of what gear to be in for an upcoming turn and when to start slowing down.
It’s not a “number cam”, it’s is the “standard view”. Basically, you are sitting in the driver seat without the interior. This has been proven several times. NFS uses a “number cam” which is much lower than the “standard view” in every GT game. I despise the term “bumper cam” almost as much as when people say “Poly Phony” instead of “Polyphony”. In GT5 Prologue, GT5, and GT6, we could activate the MFD by tapping a button such as L2 and then use the D-Pad to navigate the MFD. When not making adjustments, the directional buttons could be used to look left, right, back, and Up could be set for flashing lights or even N/A. I can’t seem to figure out how to accomplish this in GT7 though. Do you know if we can still do this? I’ve been using a T500rs since GT5.
So the MFD navigation is a set command now on the button map. You can change it to whatever you want to cycle through it. Essentially there’s no way to have separate commands on the same button, or toggle the MFD on or off. This extends to GT7 as well.
I’m using g923 wheel for ps4 how do I get the radar map up I can flip though everything on the mfd but the radar map does not show up like wtf how do I get it up
I wish I knew exactly how to fix the issue. Only thing I can say with certainty is that the radar should be between the course map and the timing window, page wise. What modes are you racing in?
I believe it is (by default) L3 on the DualShock 4 controller and the cross (X) button on most wheels to toggle/flash headlights. You can also set it up in controller options to be on a specific button and to separate the flash and toggle functions to separate buttons
Hard to catch me these days... gaming habits are sporadic at best, but I’ll try to work open lobbies into my schedule at least once a week, and they’ll be announced on my Twitter or live on Twitch (which generally also you can check on via Twitter)

My tachometers aren't showing up on the left and right? How do I fix that?
Nevermind it's because it was because I was using chase view. Darn, I like that one.

Can you get the mfd on PS4?
Yup, MFD is available on both GT Sport and GT7, and on both PS4/PS5 versions of the game

@@little_regret cool let me know
How u get it in the center my mfd is on the right a center view will b much better
can use D- PAD for steering X and [] as assertions and braking
in GT7
Yes you can, the controls are the exact same as in Gran Turismo Sport and can be modified the same way
How do u get the mfd in the center mines is on the right
The MFD position is determined by the camera you’re using. Anything but the bumper cam will have it on the right (which I’m not a fan of :p)
