SKZs rap line are pupils of rap. They write their entire discography and if you are a fan of double entendres and rhyme schemes, Han and Changbin are masters at it.
I believe that I will enjoy hearing their verses and lyrics as time goes by and I watch more of what they have to offer. Thank you for your support on the videos too.
Stray Kids (SKZ) are amazing! They are unique in the industry as they've been making their own music since before they debuted. Three of their members are their producing unit called 3RACHA (members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han). They were a hiphop unit before forming Stray Kids, so a lot of their foundation in music production comes from their love of rap, hiphop, and EDM. For only being 5 years in the industry, they've already produced over 160 songs, so there is plenty to choose from. They also have a wide variety of genres and love to mix/match genres in their music. S-Class is the title track for their new EP "5-Star" - the album has been breaking records and has some of their strongest tracks (in my opinion) to date. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

I'd also recommend checking them out on The First Take, which is a show where the artists have one take to record their vocals live. Their songs Scars and Mixtape: OH are particularly beautiful on that show (but all are great to hear them live).
For an introduction guide, I'd recommend either TeaNoSuga's 2023 Guide (there are lots of spoilers in it regarding their music and achievements) or mininhao's 2023 guide (not a lot of spoilers but has plenty of live vocals).
The fandom name is STAY, so you'll probably see a lot of "Welcome to Stayville" posts. The President of Stayville is Deadpool's own Ryan Reynolds, so also be ready to see him randomly post about the guys now and again. Hope you continue to check out SKZ! And thank you for your time!

Thank you and love your reaction. Stray Kids are the top tier for music videos. No one does it like them for sure, you might have gotten spoiled with seeing this video for the first time to k-pop. This is their best m/v to date even though the others are amazing too. I hope you check out more of stray kids for sure. I recommend Gods Menu m/v, Back Door m/v, Venom m/v. Manic m/v and Thunderous m/v to get you started.
One sets Stray Kids apart is they are self produced group, meaning they write lyrics, compose the melodies arrange unique sounds, create their own beats, and produce 99.9% of their own music. They have a very large discography and l love to experiment with music. They can all rap, dance and have amazing vocals and can sing any genre sometimes mixing genres and beat changes in one song. The are the first and only group where the main leader hand picked all his members before the company put them through an elimination reality show. The debut in 2018 with 9 members, lost one (Woojin) in 2019 for personal reasons. He also named the group Stray Kids and the logo is created in his own hand writing. He named the fandom Stay and he trained for 7 years since the age of 13 years old. His name is Bang Chan or Christopher or Chris. He moved to Australia when he was very young. There is also another member that was born in Australia named Felix who has one of the deepest voices and an angel face. Felix can do many different vocal ranges from low to high. So much more and recommend to do view the guide created by Jonathan Miller Music called The Rise of Stray Kids a deep dive. Especially since you are new to kpop it is very informative from this year 2023 and only 20 min long. Until then catch you on the next video.

They are an 8 member, self producing group who can do it all, sing, dance, rap etc. they have no specific sound so you never know what they’ll release next. I do hope you look into them some more……

😃Welcome to becoming a SKZ fan. You REALLY should check out some of their other mv's and songs. "God's Menu", "Thunderous", "Easy", "Venom", "Freeze", "Maniac and Christmas EveL" mv's. And the sub-unit 3RACHA's (which are Bang Chan, Changbin and Han) who also write and produce most of the groups songs. Check out 3RACHA's song (no mv) "HeyDay" and some of their songs (again, No mv, just words to song). They also wrote 2 OST songs (beginning and ending songs) to the Japanese anime "Tower of God", songs "T.O.P. and Slump". THEY "are" the MAIN reason I started listening to Kpop, which to me, they are on a WHOLE different level, they are like No other Kpop group out there.

Thank you for reacting to Skz. There music I would say is outside of Kpop. No one does it like them. They write and produce all their music which isn't very common in Kpop. They have a multiverse, which is shown through their MVs, this is why its always chaotic and sometimes seems confusing. Fun fact their budget for this song was quadrupled by their company. After the song dropped the stock and shares for their company JYP dramatically increased. 5 star the album has gotten the most preorders in the whole of Kpop at almost 5mill. I'm so proud of them. Another fact their fandom is called Stay. They always have the same message at the end of their MVs for their fans 'Stray Kids everywhere all around the world you make Stray Kids Stay'

I would suggest checking out Maniac, Venom, Freeze and Lonely street as a suite of songs from the same album all with music videos to get a taste of some of their very unique blend of noises. ❤ there’s also an amazing updated 2023 guide by TeaNoSuga that would be a long, but appreciated way to get to know these guys. And honestly, a lot of stay would watch the video even if it’s long. We love her guides and people reacting to them lol.
I think I watched her old one with reactors probably 25 times or more! She puts a lot of fantastic information in and I love watching new people's reaction to the achievements of our boys.
That's the first time I heard those titles but ill look into them, which one should I do first and should I do it before God's Menu? And that guide from TeaNoSuga sounds interesting too, I will for sure check that out.

In order their title tracks have been Hellevator (pre debut), District 9 (debut), My Pace, I am You, Miroh, Side Effects, Levanter, God’s Menu, Back Door, Thunderous, Maniac, Case 143, and now S-class. Each album, iirc, has a trailer too, excepting Hellevator. If you want to start from here and go back, hit all the title tracks and then go back, etc… they have so many good songs. So so many.

For rhe story line of the MV, honestly I think it's quite easy to understand it. But to make a link with stray kids lore ????? I have no idea.
They have a lore that is really interesting but at the same really really hard to understand. I understand the start of their lore since it's basically the lyrics of Not! (The intro of their first album). So basically they are stuck in a system that wants everyone to be the same, and when they realize they run away and try to find themselves. But the system is still after them (represented by cameras in many of their MVs), and at some point (Maniac MV, Maxident teaser so last year) they decided they have enough and they want to get their revenge on the system.
As I said in the little explaining of the lore, they search who they are, and you can see that in the lyrics of their first trilogy : I am not, I am who and I am you. So it means I don't know who I am, search and find myself (in you). It can also mean I am not who you think I am.
And in their lyrics they really have that thing of searching who I am, the struggles that comes with it and even talking about mental health. And that's really something I appreciate from them, because some of these lyrics where what they felt (especially when it's Han's songs).
For your next move, I would really recommend that you check out more of their songs, to see if you really enjoy their sound before getting to know them personally.
So for songs I would say the classics : God's menu, Back door, Thunderous, Maniac, Case 143 and Hellevator. You can also wait a few days and a new MV should be released for some bsides of the album 5 star.
For guides, people already recommended somes, and I personnaly prefer Teanosuga guide, but it does contain some songs spoilers. But the guide is really updated since it was released 2 weeks ago
Yeah I have been recommended that TeaNoSuga guide a few teams already too. SO they are at the top of the list then as well as a few of the songs that you have recommended too.
Your breakdown of the Lore is interesting too, It gives a storyline foundation to all the songs and keeps them all grounded in the same universe sort of. That's pretty cool and gets me more interested as well.

@@Nonpfixion Okay let's try again. I suggest starting with Muddy Water for how much you enjoy their take on old school hiphop/rap. Then just start at the start. Hellavator was pre-debut, then District 9 was debut, from there, Victory Song, Easy, Gods Menu, Backdoor, Thunderous, Venom, Maniac, Case 143, ALL of 5 star is amazing too. Honestly with over 150 tracks, it's a long list.
oh and at the start there were 9 of them but one of them left (woojin) and now there's 8 and that's a bit confusing for some at the start of this journey

@@Nonpfixion 😄 i promise that was just trying to think of some faves! Its not even all of it! If you wanna throw it back, their debut song was District 9. (Fyi, they used to have a 9th member and he's in the earlier vids)
If you want something more recent, with an m/v I think a fun one would be FAM. It's a roll call type song and gives you a little insight into each of the boys. Also, the m/v is made of recent tour concert footage.
My man was like... This poor fella was just out and about! What!? You never seen a giant octopus with one eye, wearing two eyed goggles before!? And the military just started attacking him! (That would definitely be profiling, in his defense. Lol) And then Stray Kids made a song about him. Poor odd guys just living life, shining brightly, only to be brought down by society, and it's need for everyone to be normal. (Oh shi... I started this off to be funny because your comment made me laugh, but what if that is exactly what happened here!? 😂)

Dude. I'm gonna be "That" guy and call you on your excessive pausing. I'm not hating just wanting you to get the right feel for this amazing group. By pausing it so much you lose the feel and vibe of the song. If you do pause and I know you have to for copy right issues, at least pause and then back it up so you get continuity. Other wise you miss so much. Just a suggestion. I hope you watch more of these boys because they are on fire.
Understandable but unfortunately with the rules of RUclipss terms of service I have to make it as transformative as possible. I do apologize for this but I am just be on their good side since my channel has been affected by not pausing enough.

Some people freak out about the pausing, but don't worry there are plenty of us who #1 understand why you have to do it, and #2 don't mind you doing it because we like seeing your honest reaction real time and getting to hear your thoughts as they come instead of trying to remember and cover it all at the end! Keep up the good work!
@@Nonpfixion no but you're good, you really didn't pause that much, I've seen way worse (pausing every 2 s literally ). And pausing to make comments is actually better in my opinion since we get your opinion in the moment and you don't have to wait the end to talk about the first line you know.
@@MakeGoodTrouble That's exactly why I pause cause most of the time I'm not going to remember what I wanted to say or my exact emotions at that moment. So definitely thank you for being understanding of course. Truly appreciate you as well.
@@_yunica_4848 Thank you for being understanding. The higher ups basically make us have to do it that way. And I'm trying to get back in their good graces too. Ever since my strike that Im waiting to fall off the channel has suffered a bit.
