I did this on myself without a mirror to see the back! It was tricky solo lol but 100% possible. People at the wedding thought I had it done professionally!! Thank you so much for sharing this x
I have looked at hundreds of updos on the internet and this one is my favorite out of all of them. The hairstyle is gorgeous and your explanation is clear which makes it very "do"-able. I'm looking forward to watching your other videos. Thanks so much for sharing your talent!
I tried it too but I just got my hair cut and it's just a bit too short right now. But your right I know I could do it on someone else. But can't see what it looks like makes it harder.
Gorgeous, As a retired Cosmetologist let me say you did a great job explaining how to do it , better than some instructors I have worked with. You did a great job on the hair. Best of luck.
I actually did this for a friend of mine when she got married a couple of months ago. But she had her hair trimmed and did face framing cuts. So I didn’t have to worry about how much I left out. I also used some hair pins that had little flowers and gem stones in the center.
I think you nailed the Bardot hairdo without meaning to. Pretty much everyone gets the Bardot hairdo wrong as they make it too precise with very defined sections. The zig zaggy section trick is awesome to create the perfect Bardot hair which is meant to be slightly messy and soft. Great job! You are better at this then most hairdressers on the internet 👍🏻
This is so beautiful! Thank you for teaching us how you accomplish this style. I specifically love the bit about how when you bring back the front pieces, you don’t sweep them in the same direction as the bun pieces so you create more 3D texture. Brilliant!
Why would anyone give this a thumbs down is beyond me. Thank you sweetie, just lovely and impressive. It looks so easy, I can't wait to do it on myself. And if anyone ever asks if I can do an updo I will be like Umm YEAH!!!!!!! Did I say thank you, Thank you for this training and video.
Beautiful Artistry. Art on a wall is often wasted. Wearing beautiful art like this makes people happy and all who view it happy. So thankyou for making the World more BEAUTIFUL by your Artistry.
My gosh LOVE this look. I went to at least 6 hair trials for my wedding. I actually hated all of them. I just got sick of going to them so I picked the one I hated the least. I had very long hair all so basically canvas they could do anything w cut whatever they needed to n yet none could pull off a decent updo. So wish I saw this video before my wedding cause I would have just said here just follow exactly what she's doing. You make it look so easy I may have been able to do it myself. I would have been over the moon if my hair looked like Louisa's at my wedding. 😢
I'm going to do this for my wedding in 16 days. The supplies I ordered to do it arrive today, so Im going to start doing it every day between now and then so I can have it down fast and perfectly by the wedding day! I also am doing my makeup because I can do both as well as any salon, and now I dont have to run around nearly as much and can just play my music and beautify myself! Ty!
Thank you so much! Exactly what I've been looking for so long: an antique-ish yet casual updo style for non-professionals. You are a dear! And a very gifted one, by the way.
You my dear are a brilliant hair artist! I adore all your works! I try the styles on myself, however I feel as if I am too old for the majority of the looks. I have my first long hair, in my 58 years on this planet, but my portly body does not afford me the cute factor that one has with the braided looks, or even then lovely Venus like look in today’s lesson. But, I will keep watching and playing in private. I think I may have finally got the messy bun down...so that is age appropriate for me! Your way of doing it, is faster and easier than the four ladies I watched here in the U.S. lol. I will be trying them all. Blessings upon you and yours! I pray health, wealth and peace for you and your loved ones. Hugs from Kentucky 💞Tere
This look is absolutely stunning you say that you're not a hairdresser but you definitely should be I myself am a hairdresser and I can't even do this so, bravo this is beautiful!
Your nails are very beautiful, not ridiculous at all 💗 it's new to you, having long nails, but you'll get used to it! As always, your videos are soo helpful
I absolutely love this hair. Wish I had the fullness and seen this for my son's wedding. Would have killed to have had my hair look exactly like this, beautiful❤
Dolly has lovely hair. I'm jealous! So silky shiny. Excellent explanation and demonstration. Could listen to English lady all day, such a soothing chill person with a fabulous accent. Well done, very inspiring 😊🐨🏵🐝
AHHHHHMAZING!!! I love it and THANK YOU for this video!!! Gives me incredible ideas for my beautiful, bonus baby and her GORGEOUS full head of thick, golden hair!!
I'm a hairdresser, you did that beautifully I enjoyed watching, I will use that technique thank you for sharing 😊 PS, not with kitchen scissors though lol
I’m 60 and I have thick hair that reaches my pants waist. Also I’ve had short hair my entire life until I decided to let it grow out about 1.5 years ago. I think the look you just made is beautiful; however, I am certain I would not be able to accomplish on myself. I’d like to see videos with simple but interesting updos that I could do. Thank you for showing this video, as I really enjoyed it!!! 😊
I have a formal event to go to on Friday which I haven't been to one and I don't know how many years and I love the dress that I got and I'm definitely either using this hairstyle or one of the other ones you do tutorials on you are really good at updos thank you so much
You are amazing. Thank you for sharing your talent & insight in helping everyday people like me look great. The style looks beautiful & professionally done. Please share more of your suggestions. Big Hugs 🤗
You’re actually cutting the hair correctly for a wig or actually for human hair! I’m a hairstylist and I’ve cut hair like this forever and I always cut wigs like this! Great job!
Whoever highlighted her hair did an AMAZING and top professional job! I know because this is my color! I’ve been with the same amazing hair colorist for 15+ years because this color and blonde in general is very tough to do. 2 times I went to a dif colorist and it was the worst mistake of my life… full of depression until my color was restored. I know this takes real skill. Props 🙇♀️ 🙇♀️ 🙇♀️
O..M..G.. I have lost lots of volume in my hair as I've gotten older, but even I pulled this off with shoulder-length hair! I frequently sigh when watching these videos, thinking there's no way I could pull that off, but THIS LOOKS GORGEOUS 😍🥰
Thank you so much for this Hairtutorial you saved me ! Today I had to do a Brideupdo so I studied at this tutorials for the Style! She was so happy ! And me too! Great Job you helped a Hairstylist today ❤
Well I just moved to Florida and it’s super hot already.. so I’m going to try this tomorrow! I have the length just don’t know if my hair is thick enough ! ( used to be, dang getting older ). Wish me luck !! Thanks for vid it’s super cute like usual !!
I have very thick hair and it’s long…no way I could do this without help. My hair constantly getting tangled left down or standard braid. Have trouble doing a French braid without messing up. Just appreciate being uniquely made!
I Honestly love zala hair, they were the first real clip in company that i ordered from around three years ago and i honestly trust no other brand that delivers consistency and accuracy about their product. I've tried irresistible me, and even bellami and still this brand happens to be my favorite 🤩
I did this on myself without a mirror to see the back! It was tricky solo lol but 100% possible. People at the wedding thought I had it done professionally!! Thank you so much for sharing this x
Can YOU imagine how much MONEY you saved... WOW...
I think I'm gonna give it a go! I have a wedding to go to over the weekend! Thank you, you've given me the confidence to try it

Wow! That is gorgeous! I need to try that on my own hair. But it seems so easy when you are doing it on another person’s hair.
It’s rare to find tutorials for formal buns that are higher and not super low so thanks for that!!
I'd wear this style EVERY DAY!!! Love love LOOOOVE IT!!! ❤️

how did it turn out doing it yourself? ❤️
This is gorgeous! Will certainly be keeping this in mind the next time a bride asks me for an updo!
Ooh, I'm tempted to have this as my wedding hair style 😍
That would be the perfect hairstyle for your wedding.
Do it👍🌹
I was thinking about exactly the same
Now I just need to find a groom to pull this look on my wedding 😅
What a hilariously entertaining description of those professional scissors! Lovely accent and explanation with exquisite hairstyle!

You are a true artist. Just beautiful!
Does look very pretty, wonder how it would work on fine straight hair. Those blocks always have great hair,I remember using them at college.
Forget this being a wedding look, I'll do this look everyday
Beautiful. This brings back fun memories of my wedding day. .. My hair looked great but it took 2 ppl hours to fix it. Lol

I wish I had thicker hair, but I'll still try it! Texture spray for my fine hair will probably be key, otherwise it all falls apart, haha

Omg I love that!now if only I could do it to my own hair

Absolutely gorgeous. This would have been perfect for my Grecian wedding!
Nice but defiantly not an “easy” style
So gorgeous! I am terrible at doing my own hair unfortunately so I just wear it the same way all the time.
Much easier on fake hair as its thicker
This is absolutely stunning!
Thank you for the video!
If I win the lottery I'm hiring you to be my personal stylist 🤞🏻
😂😂💕
Wow what an amazing 'natural' tutorial & stunning hair doo. Wish you could do mine, lol. Could watch you style hair all day. xx
Too complicated
Yeah. 🤷🏼♀️
Absolutely beautiful. not a chance in hell I could do this on my own hair but it is a stunning style.
Very pretty, just wouldn't call it "super easy"
