Hey Janice! Thanks for feeling my pain! It was so tough to walk away - and honestly there is a good chance we may end up with that rig someday when our finances are in order. Just not yet. 👎
It was a tough decision for sure. We will likely still end up with a Class A but it will be a thoughtful decision made in advance (hopefully 🤞🏻). Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it!
In spring, we traded in our 2019 GD reflection 303rls, that we absolutely loved, for a 2020 newmar motorhome. We are extremely happy with our decision so far. Good luck!
We're happy to hear you're enjoying your new rig! Which Newmar did you get? We have looked at a Newmar Northern Star and Kountry Star and like those too. It’s tough to leave the GD family though. We really enjoy the rallies and the friends we have met.
@@campinwiththeconfersyes, we loved them too. We bought a 2020 newmar ventana 3407. I would have gotten the newair if all things were equal because of the bigger motor but we got such a great deal we couldn't pass it up.
We think you both made a wise decision in the end…. Just do what is right for you and your goals! You have good taste though - it was a beautiful rig / floor plan! 🤩

We did the exact same thing in Hershey with Bam Bam the RV man but the Armada 40P. He did a great job with this walk through for you guys. We started out on the Discovery 40G which is almost the same coach. I love the way REV builds their chassis, so solid.

Hey Mike and Shelly you made the right decision its always best to think heavily and consider all your facts! We all love new and shiny and we all want more then we should have!! We totally understand we have struggled with this decision several times and we will probably again and again we have done this with every car we have purchased and we always worry about buyers remorse. Everyone needs to think long term not short term and where you may be at 70, 80 and 90. What's the best way to use that hard earned money! onto the good stuff those milk shakes looked yummy! Thanks for sharing!
It is a struggle! We will likely get a Class A - it’s just the timing. And you are right - we do have to think about long term. We are also concerned about Dingo (our older crippled dog) being able to get up into the class a. I can’t lift her in and out all of the time. Do you have to carry your dogs in and out?
We do carry them but its easy they 4, 6 and 8 pounds. But also our 8 pounder had a spine surgery a few years ago and our 6 pounder had a hip surgery so we try to make things easy on them especially with Class A stairs. @@campinwiththeconfers
Renting out your house would have a whole set of cons with it!!! Ask us how we know..... Sounds like you took the time to think it all through and make the best decision! 😊- Jim & Michelle
We've had some real world experience with renting our house too. And that one didn’t go so well. We are hoping that we learned some lessons in that experience and will not make the same mistakes but it’s always a risk!
Listening to you talk through the purchase is us. We’ve looked at 40m and 45p American coach a million times, but we keep saying timing isn’t right. We plan this September
Yeah we figure as long as we are not 100% sure we should pass. We really like a Super C we were looking at when we’re were at Tampa a couple of weeks ago, but still not as much as this Armada. We are getting closer for sure. Best of luck to you in your decision making! - Mike and Shelley
@ we love the 40m fleetwood and the 44le armada. We keep going back and forth on quality. Keep debating if American coach build quality is worth the cost. Love a lot of the super C, but like you guys room in As is huge.
Our plan wasn’t to buy anything there! Just to look. But when we looked at this new one - the dealer mentioned that they had a used one at their lot. But that was all of the way in Utah. We will wait for now.

@ nice! We could maybe swing that if we got something a couple of years older like you did. We will likely follow suit.
It's been really great. Parking our big f-350 in small southern states and using it as our daily driver is what pushed us over the edge to be honest.
@ that’s a huge consideration for us as well. But we have the Ram 3500. And we already own a Jeep we can tow.
We think you both made a wise decision in the end…. Just do what is right for you and your goals! You have good taste though - it was a beautiful rig / floor plan! 🤩
