I live in Upstate NY so I feel your family's struggle! It's a mess and everything has to close down which makes everything even scarier knowing you aren't getting paid. I hope they are doing well and stay healthy.
I live in Brooklyn and my dad got temporarily laid off too because of this virus. I was in the process of going to job interviews when this thing happened and now everything is closed 😭

When I was a teen, I was trying to assemble a new desk I got, got frustrated at the instructions and broke out the drill to make extra holes (that ended up being VERY unnecessary) on a couple spots. They were a mark of shame in my face basically every day for many years...
You talking to yourself was adorable. 😭 your little pep talks are so cute haha. But yeah it’s pretty bad here in NY. Hopefully spring washes this nightmare away 😔. Stay safe 💙

I can so related to the struggle and stress when you were building haha. Eventually, you will learn to not care, as long as it doesn't fall on you hahaha. And I do the same where I use my Starbucks tumbler to measure water. You are going so well given its your first time living alone!
omg that going crazy laugh after putting together that one nightstand hahaha and it looked like you really needed 3 additional hands putting it together. Moving looks like a lot of work but you also made it look fun. I'm looking forward to that part of my life, being independent and happy about beautiful new pots and pans :))

2:25 tip for removing large or heavy objects from tight boxes by yourself: push (don't pull) the box to its intended location. stand the box upright, arrows facing up. lean it against a wall just enough so you can cut it open from the bottom. open all the flaps from the bottom of the box. cut the yellow packing straps, cut the top of the box open, and simply slide it upward like you're taking off a t-shirt. minimizes labor, minimizes floor/furniture damage, works every time.👍
as for putting together furniture by yourself, you can always use the wall or any other stationary object as a third hand to prop something up for you. sometimes you have to get creative with leaning things against other things or pinching them together with your legs to free up your hands or whatever. it'll come to you.👍

@@simplytayna3234 Ashley is in the group Ladies' Code (currently on hiatus), I love their 70s influenced early material as well as their moodier/atmospheric mid-period work they did in 2015. They were not in a big company so not as popular as other groups but artistically was always on point

Salt water is amazing to soothe a sore throat. My mom had us use it as kids years ago. As an adult I remembered it and tried it.... Amazing, Simple relief. I only use hot tap water, not stove hot.
