- Over the course of the next five weeks, North Carolina will host at least eight high school basketball players from the class of 2025 on an official visit. It all starts this weekend (September 6) with Derek Dixon and Nik Khamenia. The other targets scheduled to visit over the next five weeks are Brayon Mullins, AJ Dybantsa, Eric Reibe, Isaiah Denis, Acaden Lewis, and Niko Bundalo. Will UNC be able to secure a commitment from any of these young men? It would be their first in the class of 2025.
As has been well documented, Carolina didn’t release a depth chart ahead of the first game because Minnesota didn’t either. But now - we finally have the Tar Heel depth chart to play with and dissect. As expected, Conner Harrell sits atop the quarterback chart, ahead of Jacolby Criswell. Also, what’s going on with the ACC early? It’s a big opportunity for Carolina.

We need to start landing some of these big name recruits
BIGG KUSH CHECKING IN every dayerrrr
Kentucky n Alabama is paying the money $$$
We will get the guys we need. You not going to get them all. Relax. Don't you think the coaching staff has a good idea who they land.
I don't understand why Chris Culiver doesn't get out on the field. He caught a touchdown pass from Harrell last year in mop up duty in one of the routs. The guy can go up and get it. We also need to be throwing downfield and hitting open spots. Can't complain too much. They found a way to win against a pretty good Minnesota team.
I don't understand why unc is struggling in getting guys to commit.
Why are we no longer a top destination for these 5 stars? Is it the school or the coach? Roy was always in the mix for top tier talent
We got two with the last class
well, when was last NBA player that Roy recruited really did anything? the article that dropped about Naz Little? it’s the total lack of success by him and recent players in the league that’s killing us, Naz was top 3 in the class and did nothing, that article could kill the entire 25 class, so much ammo, right up there with the investigation, opossing schools sends that article to the kid and his parents and it’s over, the center Eric R just canceled his visit, hmmm, wonder what brought that on?
They got two top 10 kids in this class. They got Elliott who was 12th in his class last year
@@amiga4everandevernot buying that. Every school has top players that end up not doing anything in the pros. Josh Jackson went to Kansas and was a bust in the NBA. Same with Josh Selby. Justin Edwards was ranked top 3 in his class last year and went to Kentucky. He wasn’t even drafted. Matthew Hurt, Vernon carey went to Duke. They both did nothing in the NBA. It happens at every school
Welp Riebe just canceled his visit with us
landing, OAD and actually doing somthing, who was the last UNC all star? have not recovered from the investigation, the two we got need to hit, how about this, next year we are 2 seed, get upbset by the 15, Ian and Drake go 3 and 4 in the draft, Ian ROY, Drake 2nd team all D or we win the chip and both return, which outcome do you want?
It has been a weird situation with recruiting since those allegations that's for sure. I would take the chip any day over NBA all stars though.
😂 I think you got that backwards… Win the natty and they leave or 2nd round exit and they stay!
@@juandoe7802 what I see is the one chip now greately reduces our chances of ever getting another cause we’ll never get another top 15 player, loosing the chip and having NBA stars gives us more high level recruits, so more chips later, I see one as short term, the other an investment in the future
@@TravW12 chip and they stay or 2rd roud upset and they leave, become stars, the chip means nothing to recruits if your top 15 guys didn’t develope into first round picks, it doesn’t matter why they come back, it will be a bad look, unless it’s major injuries
Bro UNC has put good players in the league and Hubert got two top 10 kids in this class. Coby white just had an all star type year. Cole Anthony is a solid pro, Harrison Barnes has been in the league 13 years. Bullock had a long career, Henson played like 8 years, Cam Johnson was a lottery pick. Hubert Davis just helped get Harrison Ingram drafted. Nas Little, Dayron Sharpe and Tony Bradley all were one and done. Can’t act like UNC hasn’t been getting players
Ask coach Cal how all those big name one and done players done for him????? 2nd tier players who stay in school win championships. Roy done it better than anyone and HD has quite figured that out yet
Come on...get a legit center top 5 6'10+ 260+ skilled...recruit or buy 23 year old G league pro...enough runt ball! Go heels!
Hope MJ signed AJ 😅
at some point I'm going to stop even looking for these big names to come lol...Fully expect to lose Jasper Johnson to UK as usual ...or even worse bama...like damn UK loses Cal and we still can't lure a guy to Chapel hill lol
I don’t count the JJ a big loss, he is from KY, Cal didn’t really have him high but Pope did and I think that’s all he wanted
