    Bought a 65 Samsung and looked for a stand. TV was $500. And suitable stands ranged up to 8/$900. We decided on “HANG ON”. Amazing! The legs that accompanied the TV were inferior. The Hang On legs were simple to attach to TV, very secure and price under $20.00. Best investment ever. Alice - Ohio

    Thanks for uploading this video it helped me gain confidence on putting this together. However mine is pretty solid it doesn't wiggle at all yours might have been set at an angle not sitting flat

      You are welcome. Happy it helped and that you didn’t experience the same issues with the wobbling. Definitely a cheap option for a TV stand.

    Lucky you I paid $18 2 months ago but found hardware kit for $5. Lol I opened it and relized all the hardware for tv was there to so I have plenty of extra hardware 😅
    I do think purchase was worth it though for larger tvs I wld drill and use nuts and bolts vs the tap screws.
    the tv I used was also given to me

    • @AndrewRockYoutube
      @AndrewRockYoutube  11 месяцев назад

      Yeah. I just used it as a cheap stand cause I got the TV for free and it was previously wall mounted. It’s sort of nice that they have all the hardware. Yet is also confusing with so many different options.

    It didn’t work for my 65” at all legs were to short and had me pissed off bc it clearly says on the box 37”-70”

    How long are the feet of the stand ?

    • @AndrewRockYoutube
      @AndrewRockYoutube  Год назад

      I do not know the exact dimensions and can’t check as I no longer have the stand but you may be able to look up the dimensions on Walmarts website. It’s likely about a foot or so.

    Do you need the wall mount part? Can I do it without?

    • @andrewrockeverythingdog1852
      @andrewrockeverythingdog1852 2 года назад +1

      What do you mean by that? The TV I had was previously wall mounted but I no longer had the actual piece that attaches to the wall. So when you see me remove the one on it. That is the old wall Mount that needed to be removed to attach the table top stand. The stand in the video cannot be directly attached to a wall. Does that make sense? And clarify your question?

      He’s not clear in the video or his explanation to you you don’t need it it was just left on from her we got it from in fact I think it would be a hindrance to leave it on there I think it was kind
      Bumb he thought you could use them together

      @@ryanfolsom3025 I am not really sure what you are entirely trying to eat here. Should probably re read it and correct things so that they are clearer to understand. Then, I can try and clarify what you think I did or did not say/mean in the video.

      Too big for the holes on the TV? It’s been a while but if I recall correctly, I think they provided a wide variety of screw sizes so you can pick the right fit.

    • @morioutfit6169
      @morioutfit6169 Год назад +1

      @@AndrewRockRUclips it was the right screw. The metal on one of the bases was overlapping where it screwed into. The other side fit perfect. I ended up taking a knife and shaving the metal back some and it worked. I was going crazy. I’m sure it being so cheap the manufacturing isn’t always 100% consistent.

    I had someone hook up the same tv stand and the legs sit a lot further apart towards the bottom. It does not wobble at all. I don’t think you did it right. I would show you a picture if only it would let me post one. I won’t be subscribing to your channel. Sorry!

    • @AndrewRockYoutube
      @AndrewRockYoutube  Год назад

      Thanks for the feedback. I never actually used the stand based on how flimsy it was. So not sure if it was related to how the stand was put together or the specific tv. You really don’t need to be commenting that you won’t be subscribing to my channel though. Seems rather extreme to say.

      This stupid site won’t let me edit or delete post. I noticed my caregiver put the long part of the feet facing backwards, which is supposedly wrong but gives it more width at the bottom. I hate how high up my tv sits though.

      Oh and the screws depend on your TV. It’s a universal system which is why they provide the extra screws. So that it can be used on a wide variety of TVs. Make more sense?

  • @morganthus6323
    @morganthus6323 Год назад +2

    Why did you mount it so high?

    • @AndrewRockYoutube
      @AndrewRockYoutube  Год назад +2

      I was originally planning on trying to use the TV as a computer monitor. So I needed it higher for my desk. But obviously it was too close and didn’t work out without causing severe eye strain. I would think if you mounted it lower on the TV it would likely be more stable and less likely to fall over.
