The fact that he has more fights than most who have competed anywhere near as long as him I'd say that's a positive.

My biggest fear is the fact that GSP hasn't fought in 4 years and yes moving up a weight class ?! That's a recipe for a big loss but we will see !
He is a smart guy. He has looked at everything Bisping has done and come up with a plan to beat him. I'm sure he at least will dominate the first 3 rounds unless he is unlucky and get caught by a kick or punch. Bisping may catch him though in the later rounds.
Someone's he's technically outclassed? Try every time! The guy has heart and that's what got him to the title. Plain and simple. Oh and the amazing cursing of Jason Parillo!
Bisping, Cody, JJ, Woderboy all win their fights. I think Bisping walks through GSP, how many ageing fighters have come back from long lay off to get knocked out? Loyoto just got crushed by Brunson doing the same thing.
Bisping is underrated, he has achieved so much and bet some big names. If he adds GSP to that list he will set a legacy.

Take away the dirty, PED popping fighters he lost to and he has one of the best records in the UFC, Bisping is a born winner, always finds the way

On paper sure, but Bisping beat Silva at a point where Silva should have retired a year a go, he beat henderson when henderson also should have probably been retired, and if he beats GSP it's a GSP with a four year layoff who has to actively gain weight just to make middleweight. Yair Rodriguez dominated BJ Penn, if Yair Rodriguez went on to beat Thiago Alves and Sean Sherk tomorrow he wouldn't be considered on of the GOATs. We know that he's fighting legendary fighters who are coming out of retirement, which is essentially all Bisping has done for the last little while.

Bisping is not a top 5 fighter of all time, but he is definitely in the conversation for top 5 contributor towards the popularity of MMA.
I feel sorry for him in some aspects. Through out his career, everytime he got to top 2/3 he fought a juice head, got beat, and had to start again. Now he finally has the belt, and although not in the way most people think he deserves, he turned up and fought a beast and won. 10 years as a top 10 fighter in the biggest organisation in the world, and people will not give him credit for the career he's had.
I can only think of a few still active fighters that have been there as long, Sanchez, Silva (drugs cheat), Belfort (drugs Cheat) GSP (apart from the last 4 years)
I miss Dan Hardy in the Octagon but he's one of the most professional & insightful people outside of it. Team Wolf!
GSP could fight at 155 and Bisping is undefeated at 205 that alone makes this super interesting. GSP will finally be a GOAT in my eyes if he defeats Bisping.

Brody Walters yeah rightly so, most wins in ufc history and he’s beat some the top fighters in the ufc. if he beats gsp he is in the top 5 period.
Dan DJB He really isn't though... GSP, Silva, Fedor, DJ, Cain, steep, Verdum, Jon Jones (debatable), DC, Aldo just to name a few.......All of which I'd put ahead of Bisping.
McSpitfire Jon Jones used steroids and cheating he beat DC so there both out the picture. Bisping beat Silva so he’s out the other are debatable but the numbers don’t lie and Bisping has most wins in ufc history and has taken out a lot of the top that’s why he’s being put in the top 5 he earned it. It’s as simple as that

A guy who has never defended a belt a single time against a top contender can not be considered top 5 of all time. If he beats Robert Whitaker than we can talk about it.

Fans love Georges because he's willing to go up and fight the bigger man? Some of us still remember him dodging Anderson the Spider Silva, saying he was too small for Middleweight. That's the fight the fans wanted to see. No one asked for this one

1.) Luke was a fluke.
2.) Anderson was off PEDS and on the downside of his career.
3.) Ol' man Hendo won...
4.) Lost to Tim Kennedy.
5.) Avoids Whittaker and Yoel like the plague.

Most significent strikes, most fights, most wins in the UFC. Take away the losses to drugs cheats and he's lost 2. Whittaker was injured after fighting Romero. Romero the drug cheat? Hendo lost 4-1. Knocking someone down in the last 25 seconds after being punished for the rest of a round isn't winning.

I love Dan he is so honest. He knew he beat Anderson, but he didn't mention Dan Henderson ... because Dan won that fight. I say that even though I don't rate Dan TRT Henderson!

having the belt does not mean ur the best... Kevin Lee might have caught Tony with a punch early on but does not mean he is the "best" lightweight. in my view, being among the top guys in a particular division is not defined with one fight, rather a series of fights and how those fights happened and it what context they took place... scanning through records of fighters on sherdog and wikipedia does not tell the story in my view

This fight, being for a title is a sham. GSP has never fought at 185lbs before, coming off of a 4 year layoff and most think he lost his last fight vs Hendricks. Bisping has done everything to avoid the legit killers in the division.

Bisping is 6'1 not 6"2. Also saying he's an all time great in the top 5 is laughable. If bisping pulls another upset and wins it will only be because gsp didn't fight in 4 years.

Dr him Richalds - Name another top 10 he beat other than Silva and Rokhold, and don't hold back the year.
+Dr Chim Richalds Cerrone and Maia have only 1 less win, I guess they have to be at least top 10 all-time if Bisping is top 5. Other than Luke Rockhold the second time, all of his wins either came against mediocre fighters or washed up greatest who were in their 40's.
