Everything you say is always spot on and alone time to decompress is needed at times. As a teenager I used to go sit in a field and just look up into the sky and think about things and pray or decompress. As a society we have lost what makes us human having to look over our shoulders 24/7 a walk and talk on edge or a certain way. But keep in mind sometimes making plans like you did with the kiddos is and should be 100% fun time. Next time take them to Schlitterbahn the world's largest waterpark in New Braunfels TX for a few days. They would enjoy that. That waterpark is so big you have to take two or three days just see the whole park as I believe its Americas largest water park. You're a beautiful shining star so go have fun while you still can. PS, I gave up drinking years ago and the days of waking up tired and worn out are long gone. Been there done that but your next vacation should be a cruise or planned something in Cancun or the Virgin Islands. Oh, I forget you're also by the keys so that alone would be fun. I had a friend of mine go through a divorce and he bought a boat and fishes when he's off 24/7 in the keys. Hold onto your house, you worked hard for it and deserve a home where you can take off your shoes and be you....or hold onto it as long as humanly possible. Taxes, Home insurance, and the cost of upkeep are annoying, but you are wise and pay attention to expenses and not the norm.......
I’m at the point in my life where I tried it all, left no stone unturned. Nobody wanted me so f them. I’m going solo rest of my life. I’m so tired of being ghosted, ignored and rejected. Done with it.
As long you like yourself. Don’t look at it like no one wanted you. People look for in others what’s missing in themselves. It’s never really even about the other person it’s about them filling a void. Most love relationships are codependent and end. Real long term whole life relationships are more rare than common. A lot of people just settled with one another and are secretly miserable. Make your own life fulfilling by doing what makes you happy!
