This video gives me the vibes of leave me here and watchtower and so does the sound, I simply love it. CoL is one of few bands doing their own thing and sticking to it and that is why they are so great!
I really like this music video. No 'performance' bullshit in a factory or in the forest. Just the music and mysterious images. If the whole album is as strong as Silent Man and this it's going to be my AOTY. And probably CoL best.
If everyone could remember their most peculiar dreams or nightmares this well, and be able to recreate it as well as this move-short...that would be the only genre of movie I would watch. Amazing work to everyone involved in this project. I will be showing this to whomever else I get the chance.
Earlier I had said the only Euro bands I’d seen in Arkansas were Opeth & Kvelertat - I can’t believe I forgot to mention seeing Napalm Death, In Flames & Carcass as well over the years.

Can anyone share a good review of content of A Dawn to Fear videos? (both parts) I understand there are some symbolic characters and certain philosophy behind any acts, but it's little bit confusing for me.
Saw them twice and going to see them in December (i'm a lucky european ^^) but even if you have to drive 1000 miles to see them, just do it, you will not regret. First time i saw COL was absolutely mindblowing !
Man drowns to death and is resurrected by young witch accompanied by random girlscout to be led through ominous forest to find his old necklace, which was also cursed by the little witch who would prefer to watch him die by fire.
@@Menvafangemigettnamn 100% respectfully disagree. Fear Inoculum was their best work since Aenima, and my second-favorite Tool album of all time, even above Lateralus. It showcases a softer, more instrumental side of Tool. Adam Jones' guitar-work is an intricate, and standout, element; and Danny Carey is off-the-hook on drums. Both these musicians deliver their best performance on any Tool album, ever. At first I worried they would deliver a dud, but Tool has never let me down. If anything, Maynard's voice has become their weakest link. I didn't miss the screams, but it's easy to hear his voice is dwindling. Still, Tool can do no wrong. Not a single weak album in their entire discography. Kinda like another band I know called "Cult of Luna." ;)
That’s great that you saw them multiple times, however I live in Arkansas & most Euro bands don’t come here. Opeth & Kvelertat have been here but I’m having trouble thinking of others? I’m 43 so I’ve been going to shows for 25+ years. However, I’m sure I’ve missed a few Euro shows along the way.
This band can do no wrong.
Green Man just like Type O
There is a real sense of eeriness without cheesy or forefront sfx.
The song is awesome, the video too
What the fuck should anyone really expect from Luna. Top top band and musicians and fortunately still underground
Swedish legend of metal...
"Lights on the hill" is the best and most beautiful piece of what you have created, just amazing
We definitively enter the fall now
Like Tarkovskij's feels, really awesome!!
They seems to be inspired by Tarkovsky. Same vibe you can get from "Leave Me Here" and "Back To Chapel Town" songs.
This video gives me the vibes of leave me here and watchtower and so does the sound, I simply love it.

Greatest band on planet earth 🥰
Blow my mind every album 👌🔥
Brilliant song and video! I follow you since 2006 and have never been disappointed by the quality of your music
Goddamn. That shot of him walking away on fire and collapsing is fuckin’ unreal.
I really like this music video. No 'performance' bullshit in a factory or in the forest. Just the music and mysterious images. If the whole album is as strong as Silent Man and this it's going to be my AOTY. And probably CoL best.
2019 was an amazing year for metal releases. This will is definitely be in my top5!
This is the best music of this album.

Most anticipated record of the year

Now that's a music video!
That riff reminds me a bit of "New Dawn Fades" by Joy Division.
Love this.
ComaDave I thought the exact same thing!
Jimmy Lindström bears a striking resemblance to Johannes Persson. I thought it was really him at first!

I feel so lucky to be alive in a time when bands like Cult of Luna and Tool are releasing albums only a month apart.
CoL never ends to amaze me
best band
Énorme morceau !!!!!!!!!!!!
Flawless as always
Absolutely magnificent track
Can't wait to see this guys at Artmania

Same here haha :P I would like to understand !
@@alexandremarchand8815 Part 1 + Part2 : The dots shall remain unconnected, i'm ok with that :)

🤘☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️🤘.
Hey
three likes from three different accounts \M/
I’ve seen ISIS & I’ve seen NEUROSIS - I sure wish/pray to see CULT OF LUNA - tho I fear they don’t visit the U.S.A.too often??
I`ve seen Cult of Luna and I`ve seen Neurosis, but not ISIS. And no chance unfortunately :(
I bet they will come for this album. They came for Vertikal. I was lucky enough to see them. It’s an all out assault.
I drove from Baltimore to Philadelphia when they toured with Katatonia, easily top 5 shows ever for me.
Saw them twice and going to see them in December (i'm a lucky european ^^) but even if you have to drive 1000 miles to see them, just do it, you will not regret. First time i saw COL was absolutely mindblowing !
I have a feeling they'll be back in the US soon, I've seen them 4 times now (twice with Julie Christmas) and all those shows were here

This guy went to barbecue.
I always wondered what became of the boy from Bad Religions "suffer" album cover.
I figured Tool's new album would disappoint, but i knew Cult of Luna would never disappoint.
Except it didn't disappoint.
They lost it during the hiatus. They came on too strong and delivered a copy of their previous work. But it was no chocker that it would happen.

You have NO CLUE what you’re talking about.
Ya this either has to be a troll comment or natural selection has not wiped out your genes from the pool, which must be in progress.

As I Lay Dying better.
Genre plis!¡? Is this Doom?
Post-Metal / Sludge
It's music. Fuck genres.
Same genre like the band Isis.check Them out
@@blewis66112 yeah man. Fuck people who want to find similar soundscapes to this band right? After all, genres only exist for elitists right? 🙄
Heavy but boring...
On the same path as the "silent man"
