- Ghana has unveiled its National Mosque in the capital Accra. The mosque, funded by Turkey and the Hudai Foundation, is the biggest in West Africa and is modelled on Istanbul's world-renowned Blue Mosque.

The Quraish strictly opposed the message he was sent with. They constantly harassed him & his followers, & waged a number of wars against them.
To avoid all of them being killed, the Rasuul (s.a.w.) told some of his followers to leave & seek safety in Abyssinia.
There they were well-received.
They lived among the natives, practicing Islam unhindered.
Their characters, their peaceful, loving, caring nature appealed to the locals. So much so that they started embracing Islam. Thereon it spread far & wide.
Abyssinia is now *ETHIOPIA.*
