  • The City of Davis Wastewater Treatment Plant installed a large bubble, compressed air mixing system from Pulsair System in a filtrate tank to mixing wastewater coming off the screw press during the dewatering phase. The Pulsair large bubble mixing process works by injecting short burst of intermittent and sequentially large compressed air bubbles through floor mounted accumulator plates. The large bubbles do all the mixing to both suspending any settling solids and preventing formation of grease mats and polymer caps on the liquid surface.
