Do they stack additively or multiplicatively or with diminishing returns!? I always wondered whether it was better to have 2 level 1 or 1 level 2 gem, for example. 🙏 :)
They stack additively , so two level 1 gems are better than one level 2 gem, but players do still combine because of space issue. But I would only comine the lower gems. But yeah if you have the enough space or gem slots, then keep the lower ones and don't combine.
One of the fights where your opponent had it made me think of that again - I feel like the crown is in a relatively bad spot right now, especially as a tool for outlasting, as I've been facing a lot of builds that really ramp up throughout the fight (stuff like magic torch and bloodthorn mainly), so you immune their ramp up time, and then they have ramped up and just delete you once it expires...
Hey Ben. I just hit master with ranger yesterday. It’s all thanks to your videos/builds. I like early spike shield especially on sale… if you go against ranger that has one and you don’t it’s gg. Plus it builds into early whip. I don’t love the 8 gold whip but it can be decent tempo and build into vamp since you normally have an herb or two. And let’s be honest, a decent reaper will win whether you build spikes or not, poison is just so op early. If they have weapons on reaper spikes can help a little bit too since the only way to win is to burst before poison kills you. And yeah everyone’s playing poison reaper. Thanks to YOUR LAST VIDEO.😂 it’s very hard to beat, by far the most bursty builds in the game, if they have darksaber not much to do. Also I was stacking green gems on armor to help but it doesn’t seem to make much of a diff. Anyways man. Don’t be discouraged. Diamond is hard af. Ranger is def harder than reaper. I’m interested to see how strong the new characters are early/mid/late compared to the two we have now. We all know you got the skills to be grandmaster but you do content so Diamond is really good since most people are hardstuck there anyways. Cheers brudda

I found this game a couple days ago and I've been playing the ever-loving shit out of it! I haven't played against it's been yet I would have remembered the name but man I'm loving this game
Also early gem box can be good. Red gems are actually strong early if you have two weapons. If I decide to go early box I’ll normally take it off to roll and get items I want while either keeping or selling the gems each round. Getting gems in 1/5 of the shop instead of stuff you need for the build can really slow you down and be detrimental in the mid/late game. IMO
