Is MRI safe with Dental Crowns or Implants?

MRI with Dental Implants or crown or any other metallic prosthesis is usually a safe procedure. But you need to take care of the following:
Notify the radiologist well in advance about your dental prosthesis. If possible share your dental records.
You might feel something heating up or pain or some pulling force in or around the prosthesis. Notify the radiologist/technician immediately.
Under such circumstances they might shift you to a lower Tesla MRI.
Otherwise metal prosthesis only cause artifacts in the MRI scan which can be taken care by the concerned Radiologist.
