Note how Chris said "this is MY last ever show". Maybe he was hinting it wasn't the end of millionaire all together. Just the end of his time hosting it
It felt like the right moment to call time on the show. I always knew that it would only be a matter of a few years before they brought it back, it was never likely that the most successful TV show in the world would disappear forever. But it needed that breather. It had lost that natural buzz of the early years, Tarrant seemed to be less genuinely enthused by it despite still doing the job to the highest standard, and the rule changes just made for a far less appealing format to the original. I don't think they'll ever recapture the phenomenon that it was when it first hit the screen, but I think it can keep running indefinitely so long as they stick close to the original game and don't go into overkill again.

Actually for all the troubles they've sometimes had with faulty questions I'm shocked a home competition question is so debatable. I have heard people say a million euros sometimes. Dollars is the traditional answer but it's not a good objective question
Who were all these so-called celebrities? I never heard of any of them.
