The master bedroom is the highlight of the house. It is beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed, a large walk-in closet, and a private bathroom. The other bedroom is also spacious and has its own bathroom.
The kitchen is well-equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The living room is large and inviting, with a fireplace and a large TV.
The porch is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It has a swing, a table, and chairs.

I really like this house. I need a small space dedicated for an office with a half-bath, add a carport by the laundry room, and instead of just that wall around the kitchen, if the hall is wide enough, I’d give the wall a counter around so that visitors can sit and talk to me. I think that was a popular feature in the 90’s for kitchens
Love the kitchen! Love the porch, too!
The rounded porch was eye catching. I'm always a fan of a bay-shaped area for dining or seating.
What I didn't care for: The windows in the living room seemed off center - at least the front window. Get a nice sized picture window on that side, and center it. Then, either forget those windows on the sides of the fireplace, or shorten them. The space would be better served by built in seating - with storage under a lifting seat, and open shelving above/ behind the seating. As for the shelving that's showing in the living, that space would be better served by a coat / storage closet. Usually, or traditionally, such a closet would be near the front entrance. But I'm not sure what I caught a glimpse of there, but didn't like the looks of it.
The front bathroom was nice, other than looking like a speckled bird's egg. I felt short changed when it came to the utility room, just too compacted, too small.
I agree with another comment about the home looking dated, especially the kitchen appliances and lighting. Maybe it's that I just didn't care for the lighting on the porch. A nice fandelier would be such an improvement. Either that, or a large fan that adds to the enjoyment of the porch during summer months.
I didn't get the purpose of the unnecessary partition between the master bedroom and it's ensuite. Why chop up an already small room? Open concept is a winner!
Okay, the windows on the - was that a secondary bedroom? - were amazing. Loved those windows. But a bed centered in the middle of a space? Nah. It didn't work for me. The headboard might mesh well centered in the middle of those windows like one main focal point. Otherwise, the headboard needs the traditional alignment with a wall across or opposite the lovely windows, so the bed isn't competing as the main attraction of the space - and I sincerely hesitate to call that a legitimate sized bedroom.
Overall, the pretty exterior promises what the cramped interior fails to deliver upon, imo.
Would have loved to see a locking pocket door from the master into the ground floor bathroom. Also the giant bowls as sinks needs a basic counter sink .😮

The kitchen needs to be redesign. If you cooked something smokey it will go right into livingroom. no fan to evac smoke.😊
Love so much about this house. Outside and in. Good floorplan. Don't need a bedroom exit so would switch to window. And I need a foyer - in Canada, too many rainy or snowy days to walk straight into the livingroom!
Jasper does a great job of fundamental design. I would want vents in the kitchen over the stoves and baths and Private potty rooms in the master for sure. I like showers so no baths at all.
I do agree that the kitchen is not my favorite layout with that fridge breaking the flow of the counter but besides that this cottage would make the ideal guest house on a large estate. You should sell the floor plans.

really like this with the exception of the huge wall dividing the kitchen and living room. Leave the counters without the additional one foot wall.
Hi sweetie, I would so love to live in that house, but with some adjustments (sorry, I know you design for a warm climate, you told me that.):
1) regarding to a hall, which would be very necessary, so, I would 'sacrifice' a part of the living room for a hallway!
Because yes, our continent (Europe) is not that friendly with the weather, HAHA. An entrance hall is thus a real must-have!
Oh yes, and of course:
2) this house will also need central heating!! That is also very necessary because of our climate ( radiators or underfloor heating) ;-)
And even though the son is 29 and I am 64, we would love that swing, we would argue (in a fun way) about who may use it LMAO and ROFL!!!!

Porch area is fantastic...
Inside is roomy enough, just a little short on storage closets, unlike some of your other designs. I appreciate the tub in master bath. Love the layout and storage in kitchen, however it really needs an overhead exhaust fan over the cooktop.
Did I miss the floorplan that's usually in your videos?
Lovely little house. The kitchen is perfectly functional for a single person, however I would use that second bedroom as an office or for storage space

This is a very nice home. The pony wall in the kitchen and the privacy wall in the master bedroom are interesting touches. Personal experience tells me that former will need a good backsplash if it’s against the hob. I like how the living space extends outside. The guest room is like a fairy tale!

WOW! The entrance, then the living room, love the fireplace, it looks like stucco on the fireplace, love the kitchen and the dining room with bow windows, then the laundry room, then the bathroom, that looks like sponge paint or a different design, then master bedroom with the vanity, then the master bathroom, then the bedroom with unique design, then the other bedroom with the bow window, it's awesome, love the layout with a wrap around porch and the door to the dining area, it looks like a deck by the kitchen door to the master bedroom door

No exhaust hood over cooktop. You should have one.
I stopped watching at that point...kitchen wasn't impressive and yes, who doesn't have an exhaust fan? Stove shouldn't be overlooking the livingroom. Can you imagine frying up something smoky, stinky and greasy? Front door and entry was a little lackluster imo. Meh, different strokes, am I right? 🤷♀️

Beautifully laid out! However, you have five doors going to the outside. Thats a lot! I'd remove one of those doors in the dining area and put in patio doors, in the back. It would be easy to attach a garage to the left side of this home.

This design is perfect, but I need third bedroom in this house. Any suggestions?
This is pretty close to perfect. The porch is fantastic and the rooms while not huge seem comfortable and well laid out.
For my personal taste I'd wall off the kitchen/dining from the living space with a large pass through, but I like the option to separate those spaces. Would probably have more closed cabinetry over open shelving but that's an easy change and more of a personal taste issue.
I could also see how someone could easily build up with this design. Use the same basic layout for the first floor but add bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. In that case, I'd probably convert the back bedroom to stairs/office and scooch things just a bit to make the front bedroom a master's or in law suite.
Jasper, this house beautiful! The main bedroom is delightful. But it needs doors. The guest bedroom, well the bed out in middle of the room and nightstands are not good. The one nightstand you would need to move every time you wanted to open a drawer. Not fun. You could move the closet on the same wall as the dresser and bed the against the vacant wall. The room flow would be easier . Or you could make the room a little bigger. The porch is fantastic! I love how big it is, but maybe you could take a few feet from it for the bedroom. Love the house overall!
There seems to be a second level. Attic space maybe? Still, I would have liked to see it. Beautiful house though. ❤
Hi Mr Tran, lovely day to be alive! Love this design, that front porch is to die for. Kitchen needs some help though. I would put stove top where fridge is (add a vent), put fridge where pantry is, put pantry where the cabinets are in the far right (doesn’t have to reach the floor) but it does need to reach floor just put in a walk way into kitchen there but leave as much of the counter area as possible. Putting the stove facing the living room with no vent would lead to all those cooking smells in the living area. Plus it’s just awkward having it there. Beautiful home great porch.👍❤️👍

Needs a hooded range n not in area it's in. Not enough storage in 1st bedroom but i do like rest of layout. It is a gorgeous home
Last bedroom shown with the bed in middle of the room does not work. The master bathroom needs some storage space eather a regular vanity with under sink storage and some drawers and or in front of the toilet a floor to ceiling cabinet for stuff including some linens towels etc .. the kitchen needs more upper cabinets instead of the open shelves and get the microwave off the valuable counter space and put a cabinet with built in microwave shelf over the dishwasher area. The lower cabinet below where the microwave was on the counter Needs to be a drawer over door style cabinet to maximize the number of drawers in the kitchen. I truly think that some upper cabinets could be installed wrapping around the top over the counter still leaving the open space under them but would greatly increase the storage capacity of the kitchen. They would hang ftom a sofet from the ceiling. MY kitchen in my house had this at the peninsula with a eat at bar counter and it looks great and still had a open feeling to the space and gave me great additional storage which I could access from both the kitchen side and the dining room side.
I love your designs; this one is a beauty. My only concern is the flat roof on the porch. In some climates this roof might work but in my area it would accumulate leaves, snow and ice. The maintenance to keep it from deteriorating and causing damage would be an ongoing problem.

I agree with Amoebalnk......I could see me living there...love the front end of the home (although I wonder why we have two dining room doors?). And the master bedroom is a mystery to me? Why do we have a backdoor in the master bedroom? And why bother wasting space on that vanity zone in that room? I would have preferred a walk in closet, even if it was little? So I'm not sure where we are going with the master bedroom space? Besides my too many doors obsession, it's a wonderful house and a very workable design and flow. Just a little rethinking about why so many doors? and are they important for some reason? Lovely also, is the look of the house as you walk up to it. A somewhat unique and interesting design with the roundness. I'd live there! (not to forget, nice interior design features!) ...oh almost forgot...I think this size (1,000 ft +) is your very best sweet spot for your design talent. 🤩
I would build a detached two-car garage with an apartment above it for a potential mother -in-law suite or rental income potential. The kitchen does not have enough storage space, and in most places code, requires that you have a vent hood over the stove. But the layout overall is very nice. The bathroom with that separate vanity area is such a thoughtful touch! I love all the mill work throughout. But I agree with other comments in that I don’t like the bed in the middle of the room - that’s just awkward.
