Do some quick math with a few assumptions.
$10,000,000 (lets assume most if not all is short-term capital gains):
      Federal tax (35%): -$3,500,000
      State tax (4.5%): -$450,000
Net Investment Income Tax (3.5%): -$350,000
      ---
      $5,700,000 take home.
You're not going to pay yourself the lump sum. It's pretty reasonable to live below your means and grow your account before starting to take large withdraws.

I love this interview. I literally am indicator to mathematically see if my stock is extended on trading view with a histogram view:
    (High -MA)/ATR
Another thing I resented with was breaking the previous days range
I like seeing two lower highs near a 10/20 Ema and using the lower high as a pivot before entering. Not necessarily Lance Breitstein’s right side of the v concept, but close. It definitely lowers drawdown on winners and allows tighter stops

Go on Finviz and look at the leading groups over the past 30/90/180 days. There are 197 industry groups in the market. Avoid groups trading outside of the top 40 groups. Big winners don’t “typically” come out of crap groups. The biggest winners every year come from top 1-20 groups within the market.

Ariel and Sam thanks for this video. Ariel, several times you are talking about whether a stock is extended from 50 DMA. In case of BABA, you say it moves 2.24% per day. Do you mean that it's avg $ range per day divided by it's price is 2.24%? If so, avg range over how many days? If not, what do you mean? Thanks.

    • @arielhernandez9608
      @arielhernandez9608 Месяц назад +1

It BABA moves 2.24% per day and its 18% away from the 50sma, i would say thats 8x its ATR from the 50sma. We are definitely at a trim spot. Take the distance from the 50sma and divide by its average daily range. That will give you its extension. And try to avoid buying stocks more than 4x ATR (average true range) from the 50sma.

Many of our guests have verified their profits on their own at one point. That's up to them. We choose guests who we believe to be credible based on the merit of their insights, their reputation in the community, or some profit verification they've done on their own.
Guests like Ariel are not selling anything. They are adding value to the trading community by sharing their expertise. They are doing the community a favor, and we're not here to put roadblocks in the way of that. If guests would like to verify their profits, great, they can. We are not auditors. These videos are created for entertainment.
Of course, we take credibility seriously and do our best to make sure every guest is legit, but we also encourage viewers to think for themselves. You shouldn't be following any trader blindly just because they've made a lot of money. Put what you hear through your own filter. Does it resonate with you? Did you learn something that can help you improve? Great, apply it to your trading. If something doesn't resonate with your approach to trading, disregard it.
Let the merit of the ideas speak for itself.
