    Lilac will be fantastic because it makes great shadows, unlike that butter color in the thumbnail. Will it will show off all the details of this lovely Stitch.
    BTW you can call it a baby blanket if you like, but it looks like the front and back of my new sweater I'm going to have to make now that I've seen this video! Lol. I might make a rectangular kimono- poncho sort of a thing.

      Thank you very much! Yes, I have some blankets that use size 4 (medium) yarn. You could take a look at my Classic Baby Blanket or my Moss Stitch Baby Blanket as both of those use size 4 (medium) yarn. You can use the search icon on my site or RUclips channel to find them. You could also try looking at my Continuous Granny Square Blanket Pattern as that one can also be made with size 4 yarn. Hope this helps!

    Hi. Thank you for the tutorial. I don't have a 5.75, but have 5.5 and 6. Should I use the 6?

      Hi there. I can't say for absolute certainty as I've designed, made and tested this blanket with a 5.75 mm hook but I believe you should be okay with a 6.00 mm hook. I hope you enjoy making it!

      Hello! The sample was just to illustrate how to do the blanket. If you’re looking for gauge, here it is: Gauge: 4” x 4” = 14 sts and 9 rows following the blanket body pattern (to make a gauge swatch: chain 29 and follow the blanket body pattern).

    I live in the UK and when you said ‘Hi from Halifax’ I thought you meant the northern town we have here 🤣🤣 But then realised you meant in the US 😘 There are so many UK town names the same in the USA, I suppose it stems from the British settlers many years ago. I love your tutorials, as a beginner they make it so easy to follow thank you 🙏🏻
