  • George aka Rooster has been dealing with addiction since he was given drugs by his own mother as a child.
    He’s also dealt with judgement from family and friends which has led to him isolating himself and choosing to live on the streets!
    Rooster shares his story in this interview and also gives us an inside look at how he lives and survives on the streets.

    This is a perfect example of trauma and disconnection and lack of a good role model and guidance resulting in addiction. This guy was set up for failure. What other direction could he have gone in? This is horrible. He is so self aware he must be living in absolute Hell. Heart breaking. breaking.

    He reminds me a lot of Freddie Roach the great boxing coach - perhaps similarly impaired?

      Freddie Roach has parkinson's. This man is tweaking.

      @@GodbreadGilfredBiago thanks mate. "Tweaking" and Freddie's Parkinson's have some similarities on the surface it seems to me - perhaps there is some similar attack on the nervous system and musculature? Freddie's appears "jerky" kinda like this guy whereas Ali's movements were slow and shaky. All of it seems like a terrible terrible malaise whether you're "tweaking" or got "Parkies."
      I'm guessing Freddie's was induced from repeated blows to the head in boxing?

      He gave up heroine, so I know he can stop using!
