    Lord, deliver us from leaders who selfishly develop followers! Leaders who develop leaders are investing in the next generation! loved this John Maxwell video clip it is very insightful.

    I listened to him speak this past June in Vegas, NO teleprompter. FYI the man is a best selling author and wrote over 70 books.

    I haven't seen Maxwell in a very long time. I was therefore interested in this video up to his discussion about specters, bowing and calling someone "your holiness." I know he was discussing leaders not acting the king with a large ego but I think I can discern his opinion of the Catholic Church. At least his opinion from a number of years ago. There are some very distinct reasons why some of the things he mentions exist within the Church: the Pope's or Bishop's staff symbolizes his being a shepherd. Saint JP 2 actually had a crucifix put on top as a constant reminder of the love of God and the sacrifice of a leader which is to give of himself whole and completely.

    Min 20:29 and on…reveals why Jesus chose Peter over the others apostles to lead the church. If what Dr. Maxwell is teaching is true then Matthew 16:18 is true.

    The lower you go, the wider you want the gap between you and the people you lead.

    I wish he had time to explain how every time you go up a notch you increase your capacity ten percent, but it isn't a ten percent. Can someone expound that?

  • @KairosZenith

  • @globalpacesetter

    Trying to treat everyone in the organisation is stupid coz they don't have same capacities and responsibilities.

    Since when did church become a corporation that needed leader conferences on expanding their numbers? God draws people, not men. YHWH would have a field day with this.

    • @petenoot9036
      @petenoot9036 7 лет назад

      With the Huddleston's he actuallys speaks to this in other videos. It was when he decided to focus on the secular masses where his reach could go farther than that of the Pastor of a church. He details it well.
