Sonu Nigam has sung the song very well...quite close to Rafi sahab...but still not equal to him. Also one should realise that for Sonu Nigam it was easy because all he had to do was copy Rafi sahab's expressions and style but Rafi sahab did all the expressions and voice modulations on his own...he brought the song alive with his own creativity.
