The authentic loco moco should definitely have white rice and the hamburger patty. They should use an impossible patty for plant based. It's all about the brown gravy! Thank you for sharing your dining experience! 👍
That Big Kahuna looked good but I like the Mickey waffle and cheesy grits that come with Steakhouse 71 Feast. I trade my bacon for Ron's Mickey Waffle. LOL. I agree the ambiance is better at the Poly!

Holy crow $6.50 for the pog juice???? We ate there in April and I didn't feel like it was that much. But I LOVE pog juice so maybe I didn't notice. Hope you got one to go. The great thing about Kona is that there is typically availability, even day of. The food is decent, but I would say if this weren't in the Polynesian, it would probably not be a place I would frequent.
I know right? The POG juice was so expensive. There was a lot of empty seats the entire time we were there which was kind of nice, we could hear each other talk. I agree, the magic about this place is the location. Thank you for watching Jeff.
