$40,000.00 for an engine? So essentially you are buying an engine with a shell... That seems so expensive... Better to get it fixed than cause more problems...
Why do you bring your cars to the dealer when 3rd part shops can do same repair for better price ?

@@mreppen1 not that they will rip you off they just follow a very high standard and inspection procedures so that’s why it’s costly
@@nickssleddingadventures4618 disagree. I have used third party repair stores for 35 years, if you research you will find honest competitors who will charge you half the price of dealers. We are not in the 1970s anymore.

In a big rig we'll do what's called a Regen, and what that does it'll bring the Idle of the engine to 1100 rpm for 30 or 40 mins to get the temps up high enough to clean the carbon soot out of the system and pipes .. moose has something smaller with a filter which traps heat ,and clean as you go .. hope it helps Ken

Yes, as a nurse I can attest, your body will try to stay at the higher weight. You could eat 0 calorie foods like lettuce (iceberg, Boston, red leaf) or spinach and arrugala. Kale, for reasons unbeknown to me, has calories before you even add lemon juice. Ususally it's the dressings that add the calories. But, if you like plain lettuce, spinach & arrugala, they will fill your stomach without adding calories.
The key to losing weight is to eat less calories than you exert (like exercise) each day.
It does not look (to me, anyway) that you've put on any weight. I can still notice your face looks thinner and your shoulders also look thinner. You look healthy, mind you. But you can see the dfference between previous videos and now. You are doing fine on your diet! Great job, Ken!!!👍

Ken please don’t focus on body weight……body composition is key. Ditch carnivore and just eat a balanced diet and incorporate weight resistance training. Cardio is important but you will see big changes with weight resistance training .😊
It's true about the body trying to maintain equilibrium. That's why for most people their weight might fluctuate a few pounds from day to day, but, barring major changes in activity or caloric intake, will stay about the same.
The problem with Mercedes Benz vehicles is that they are very expensive to maintain and as the get older they become exponentially more expensive. I would suggest that yo don't hold on to Moose for too long.
One thing my driving instructor taught me that I still use to this day is demonstrated very well in this video. While you are parking right at the very end of the video, you show camera footage of the building in front of you, that also happens to act as a perfect mirror helping you to park staight and with even distance either side 🙂
Was it broken from motor when they sold it to you? It would take a lot for that to detach from the engine.
I admit to knowing very little about fitness and diet, but why would you need to eat all of the calories that you burned? Isn't the point to be in a calorie deficit to lose the weight, if that is what you're trying to do? Which it sounds like to me. I am also trying to lose weight. I have had great success in the past with Weight Watchers, but now that I am older, and I just love food, it is so hard. Good luck to you in all you do. I love your vlog and watch your videos everyday.

What was Rusty's kilometerage at purchase, and how much did you add? Asking out of curiosity. My first vehicle was around 30,000km at 4 years old, and financed over 6 years...some 10 years ago.

Interesting about the « set point » thing. I’ve always found that. I’m done my month on keto now and a week later I haven’t gained any weight. Maybe a pound. My body always seems to stay at a « new normal » for a while. It takes a while for my body to realize I’m not eating well anymore. Not badly, but not a month of steak and broccoli chicken and salad like I was doing.
