Leaving this comment here so that if anyone has the same error can solve it.
Error: cv2 has no module face
I tried all the solution available on internet but nothing worked for me
Then I uninstalled everything and---
1. Install vs 2019(not vs code) with desktop development with c++
2. Installed python 3.8.6 strictly 64 bit windows installer
3. Installed cmake
4. Installed dlib
5. Then opencv-contrib-python (completely removed python packages and everything because maybe it was overidden)
6. Normally installed libraries needed for code

another way to resolved the sv2.face is not in module (pip install opencv-contrib-python)

AttributeError: module 'cv2' has no attribute 'face'
It means LBPHFaceRecognizer is not in installed usually it comes with cv2 library

For LBPH prmbl
Open terminal and type python then drag the main.py file from the top the eraser the & symbol in the path which arrives automatically in terminal the project will run without issue

and also only one type of image is getting saved in the data folder i.e whenever i try to add the photo the previous one gets deleted

When I created the 'Train Data' button and clicked on it, a small window popped up just as you showed in the video. However, it got stuck on the last image and didn't proceed to show me the message 'Training dataset complete.' Could you please let me know where I might have gone wrong? I followed all of your steps. It would be greatly appreciated if you could reply to me.

did you confirm that you have a version of Opencv installed that contains the module Face? You can check like this:

functions = dir(cv2)
for f in functions:
print (f)
and if not...install like this:
pip uninstall opencv-contrib-python
pip install opencv-contrib-python

Hello sir, I have some questions,
1) During the list comprehension part, why do we have to store the "data" directory into a new variable?
2) 26:45 , why are we converting the images into grayscale when we have already done it in the previous part?

Since images are already gray scale, then why are we doing it again
you asked a very good question.
Because when we train images, we need grayscale images that's why we use grayscale again.

Sir mere code me mene train tak complete bana liya tha sab sahi se chal bhi gaya tha photos bhi Data folder mein feed ho gayi thi lekin ab nahi ho rahi data set complete bhi ho raha hai but photos Data dir mein nhi jaa rahi
agar ek bar ek user image ko capture kar liya hoga na and uska image file mai save ho gaya hoga to uska dubara se file mai save nahi hoga bhale hi kinyu na capture kar le
agar phir se new user ke data ko add karo uske bad new user ke face capture karke image save hoga ussi folder mai

@@JD-iy9ej i solved it....i rechecked my code again from this video and found out one of the statement was missing...actually in this video, sir has skipped that part when he wrote that statement. In the end of video sir will scroll down and show whole code that time it is visible. You can check that
