Barium chloride (BaCl₂) is not typically described by a solubility product constant (Ksp) because it is highly soluble in water. Ksp values are generally used for sparingly soluble salts, and BaCl₂ dissolves completely in water, dissociating into Ba²⁺ and 2 Cl⁻ ions.
