  • Donna Presley is a member of the family of Rock n Roll royalty. Her mother Nash was the youngest sister of Elvis Presley’s father Vernon. Donna grew up at Graceland where she spent her summers from the age of ten. When Donna was seventeen her father, Earl, started to work for Elvis on his ranch in Mississippi, the Circle G.
When Elvis sold the Circle G, Donna and her family then moved onto the property at Graceland where she lived until she married. In 1979, Donna began working for her Uncle Vernon at his office at Graceland answering fan mail. Donna and another cousin, Patsy, worked in the office at Graceland until it opened to the public in 1982. Donna co-authored three books about her famous cousin Elvis and their family. "Elvis, Precious Memories" is an in depth look into the family who came before Elvis.

Elvis story here!! I had a car mechanic years ago in Kansas City and i saw lots of pics of Elvis standing next to him with this huge Motorhome !! My mechanic proudly told me one day he got a call from Elvis"s group asking if they could bring in the motorhome cause it needed a new transmission they thought!! He thought it was a prank and yet said " Ohhhh sure bring it in" He laughed telling his employees that Elvis is stopping by and he told me they all laughed!! He was a big tease and always joking until he almost died when this Motorhome pulled up !!! He informed the guys it would take most of the day to have his men fix it snd he asked " Is Elvis inside??!" They informed him he was and hungary but he just cant just walk into a restaurant because hed be mobbed! My mechanic told him everyday he goes home for lunch and he will tell his wife to make extra if you all come!!" After a few minutes he came out and said " Yes Elvis says hed love to but dont tell the neighbors; he wants it quiet so not to have a mob!" He laughed telling me he called his wife of the news and make sure she makes extra fried chicken for Elvis and the guys!! She got mad and told him " You know i love Elvis and why would you act so silly and tease me??" Fast forward in walks Elvis saying hello to her with his pals!! He told me she stood forever it seemed frozen because she was stunned!! Lol. They all ate; laughed ; and shared stories for a few hours!! They talked about cars; cycles ; guns and marshal arts!!" Elvis got tearry eyed saying that its been years since he sat down relaxed just chilling out with a home cooked meal and not being asked to sing!! Elvis told them " Trust me im not going to forget this!!". He agreed to take pics with the couple as a thank you. Fastforward after Elvis died; he got a knock on his door with a driver giving him keys and saying " It was in the will you both get his motorhome! Because Elvis told him " Keep their name and address on file!!* After he had lunch here! All the neighbors came running out screaming seeing this vehicle that took up the driveway. Lol. They said " we belive ya now cause we thought your story was bullshit about Elvis!! He told me he forgot it was Elvis because he felt like he was talking to a old friend! Just thought it was a sweet story about Elvis

Donna is right, Elvis was an ordinary man, who was chosen and blessed in his own special way. Elvis loved people, he loved God, and money was something he never worshipped. He wasn't a person who was ruled by money and success. He was more ruled by the goodness and loving that was in his heart.

I met Elvis when I was 12. ( 1975 ) I had been run over in Helena Arkansas and they sent me to Methodist South in Memphis Tennessee. I spent 3 weeks there. My bus took me by Elvis's Graceland and the bus stop was right in front of the gates. One elderly black lady was there , I had to change buses to get to the Continental Trailways station to get back home. Elvis was riding around on a little Honda 50 mini bike . Blue . He came up to the gate and started talking with us. He was a down to earth great human being , he was so respectful to us . I miss him . R.I.P brother, I'll see you in heaven someday if it's God's will.

He took care of his family, he was so generous and most people that hit it big leave their families behind. It was said from a family member that when he died, he had over 100 people on the payroll. And they didn't dare say they wanted something he would immediately buy it for them. He was good hearted and many still live off of his name. Sad. Thanks for this interview..

I would so love to meet Donna Presley. I would love to get to know her and the Elvis that was just a person not just the Huge Superstar that was Elvis Presley. When I was in 5th grade I did a report on Elvis Presley as I was hit very hard by his passing, my report for school was complete with pictures and I had that statement that he made when he heard people saying he was The King. He made it clear that there's only 1 King and that is Jesus Christ The Lord and that he himself is just a man, just a singer. I've loved Elvis since before I could walk. I was 3 years old when he did the 68 Come Back Special and my dad had it on the TV. I had heard Elvis on the radio and the records that my sister would listen to, and loved to hear him sing. And when I got to see him on television, I was blown away without even knowing what blown away was at the age of 3. I'm a life long fan of Elvis Presley and a life long unknown extended family member of "Elvis" the man that God put on this earth. I could always see the deep sadness in him. But, he was trying to always be strong for everyone and maintaining a life that was very debilitating because of all the demands being made of him. I agree so much with Donna that Elvis was loyal to a fault and just a handshake in agreement meant something to him. He had tremendous honor. And that is so lacking in the world not only today but even back then. I have one memory of the American Music Awards the year Elvis passed. And the only person that really showed recognition and appreciation for Elvis and his career was Stevie Wonder. And he gave up his award that year to honor Elvis. And that really moved me to tears. Because he showed genuine care and respect. And I don't recall anyone else really showing that level of respect for Elvis Presley that night...

What a shame that Priscilla cuts good people off. Thats what I don't like about her. Billy Smith was the closest person to Elvis, no doubt. The families even moved from Tepelo together! Billy & Jo Smith still live Elvis and are so humble & down to earth. The MM & Priscilla never got along even after Elvis died. Only Jerry sticks around her. Jerry is a good man IMHO. How can anyone blame Priscilla because she is in a mind cult. That "religion" is like self brainwashing. Poor Lisa.

I have a question if Donna’s mother was Nash Presley, and she was married to Donna’s father, what is Donna’s father’s family name? Donna also mentioned that she was married and had children, what was her married name?
How did Donna’s last name go back to her mothers, maiden name, Presley? Did she go through the court system and change it?
It was a very interesting interview. I agree with Donna that if Lisa Marie would have been raised around the love of Elvis‘s family, & God instead of that LA culture and Scientology, she may have been much happier, perhaps.

As a little girl then, i was fascinated by the voice of ELVIS PRESLEY and love listening the songs 'Cause of his voice given by GOD ALMIGHTY. In some way i knew ELVIS loved and believeth in GOD. ELVIS was very popular in South America. Sometimes i asked myself, was there no one no person(s) to cheer him up in those days in his difficulties as a humanbeing! Gosh, i wished i was near by his side to cheer him up then and prayed together! Only GOD ALMIGHTY knows why ELVIS PRESLEY left this earth early in his life! To GOD be all the Glory for the gospel songs sang by ELVIS PRESLEY! I remember that ELVIS PRESLEY did put the LORD JESUS CHRIST first! ELVIS PRESLEY did declare and proclame to the fans(crowd): JESUS IS THE KING‼️

To show that money can't bring you happiness. Then you have the other example a person who no matter what you cant get ahead and never get a break in life but is happy no matter what, life cant get him down hes a rock. In order to know the real man you needed to be in his presence and become a close friend one he had could study and have a good sense of who cared about him and who didn’t ‘ l guarantee it ! that only on stage and in his movies ‘ times he was just infatuated with some starlets thank you Donna you are my favorite Presley your so wise and lots of common sense ! 🙏🇺🇸❤️💜

Priscilla and Lisa Marie remained in close contract with Patsy but never saw Donna but Donna wants us to think otherwise even going so far as to post a photoshopped picture of her with Lisa Marie at the Meditation Garden. The background on the photo got photoshopped incorrectly as the statue behind Donna and fake Lisa Marie is backwards and whoever photoshopped it took a picture of Lisa Marie in LA and inserted next to Donna in the photo. Donna was not part of Elvis' life, didn't spend every summer at Graceland and barely knew Elvis. She's made a career out of scamming his fans.

Great interview with Donna. Thank you for sharing your memories Donna. I think it would be great for you to reach out to Riley and the girls. I personally don't think that they have a good insight into their Granfather. So meeting up with you would be a very good thing. Especially now that Riley is in charge of the Estate. She needs to know what her Grandfather was really like. Good luck. 💖

Love Donna I never knew who she was but now that I’ve seen her I love her. I like the way she says what she feels and she is very attractive. Wish the world could have known who she was while Elvis was around. I always felt sorry for Elvis because I knew he was a prisoner of his fame. I hate that he had to live the way he had to because of it. I hope he’s at peace . I wish he could have been at peace while he was alive.
