I survived Storm Sandy, I saw my front window smashed by a wave! Knee deep in salt water! Luckily my buddy and I are old Vets so soldiered through it! Two weeks of hell!
Have you ever thought about, using steel shot with a proper choke? I know it is coming, since it is required for duck hunting. Ranchers here in Texas have already started banning lead shot near their ponds. At least some I have talked with. Makes sense, since plots of land are constantly blasted with lead shot and the fragments. The ranchers also don't like the plastic wadding, which the Cows will eat. By the way, both Cows, Deer, and dove will eat lead pellets by mistake. Dove use them as gizzards stones. Just something to think about.
The storms in Florida and Houston have massively hit dove hunting in Ohio! Crazy! We have seen temps hit 40 at nightm! Not to make light of our fellow Americans suffering from hurricanes. Birds are moving South very early! Too devastation? Bad omen😡

We focus a lot on the human tragedy but wildlife suffer severely from these storms. Fires out West are just devastating on the wildlife out there too
