Sarah Michelle Geller did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Helen Shivers as she put tons of emotion and depth into her role. This is one of her most greatest, iconic, and memorable roles in cinema.😍💯😎👍😏

Yes she did, Sarah Michelle Gellar went to film I Know What You Did Last Summer just 21 days after Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered on The WB. I Know What You Did Last Summer was filmed between March 31,1997-May/June 1997 while the first season of Buffy was airing and was released in theaters October 17,1997 just a month after the 2nd Season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered on The WB September 15,1997.
Sarah Michelle Gellar did a fantastic job as Helen Shivers and should have been the final girl in I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Helen Shivers is such an amazing character. She's beautiful, charming and humble yet flawed enough to be likeable. Sarah's performance nailed us in the hearts especially when her survival was stolen from not just us - but from her.
Sarah definitely suits the Final Girl role much more than Jennifer Hewitt. Just note, I do not hate Hewitt, but that role doesn't suit her.
sarah for sure suits the final girl role. she would’ve done spectacular! jennifer hewitt did wonderful in this role, but it would have been cool to see helen shivers evolve as a character.
They should've just done 2 versions of this movie one with Helen as Final girl 😆

the way she was the last death b4 the movie ended explains a lot. how she broke a POLICE car window, ran to her work, went through all after her boyfriend and sister were killed, jumped off a window and still dying? istg julie didnt even have this pain in her chase scene sorry..

Sarah Michelle Gellar wore hair extensions for the scenes when Helen Shivers had long hair when I Know What You Did Last Summer was filmed between March 31,1997-May/June 1997 this was due to the fact that she had her hair cut and dyed more blonde for Scream 2 which she went to film after production wrapped on I Know What You Did Last Summer.
