sometime being in depth can be annoying. like going though the back story of every villain and how they ended up the way they are. its a waste of time and distracts from the current events. i rather they didn't show the backstory and try to paint the villain as a good guy on the wrong path.
Bruh 85% of them are almost copypasta writing with the same plot, same character motivation and same expected outcome. Inspired by series that dominated and started the genre. You can almost label them as typical isekai shit with nothing new to offer.
That explains a lot why he's so "evil" Truly the best "villain" backstory so far. I felt bad for the nobleman. So happy that he got the happy ending he wants 😭
@@christianmatthews9320 atleast that child get one... And did not have to suffer like him, i think it already made him happy to see his granddaughter? Lul
You can see him crying in a glimpse of the moment when he tells the slave to leave, snot on his nose and a teary right eye. While at the end you can see his brow and his face forms the expression that he's going to miss them going out before he changes back into his "villainous" attitude in the end
When I notice the couple at 2:18 that are dead, it reminds me of something. I had to rewatch the previous comic and notice those are the Furry Slave's parent. So thats how she lose them eh. And on the same day, our "EVIL" Noble lose his own family. Dang hurt the kokoro. I'm glad there is like a prequel but at the same time. my kokoro hurt.
Nobleman is one of the best written characters you can find in short stories like these. He has no right to go this hard. This prologue perfectly explains his unique character quirks and also deciphers the true meaning behind his actions towards the slave, whom he truly saw and valued as a new daughter. Yet this way of dishonesty still prevents him from having a real and genuine family relationship with her or anyone else. He is a broken man, but he wants good for his people and so will still work towards taking care of them even if he gets nothing in return. He is a true role model and an unsung hero.
God damn. This started as a funny skit of subversion to creepy expectations, and turned into a full on heavy and deep plot. Its obvious that at first, he was just supposed to be a villain who was bad at being cruel, but as the series went on a change was made that he was being nice on purpose and acting like it was cruelty, and now we know exactly why he was doing that. The fact it was likely made up as it went along, yet still fits so perfectly, just proves the writer is amazing. As soon as I saw his girl spill wine on him, I knew where it was going, but as soon as I saw the girl's parents at 2:18 it hit even harder. Well done.
Another guy here that you pointed that one out too, good eye and yeah... Wasn't exactly expecting it to get this dark but it does make for a much heavier impact on everything that came before (well technically after) it at the end of "The Nobleman who got caught by the Furry" storyline...
if you want to read something in kind of the same... feel... negative hero and demon king's general, there are also quite a few manga in the 'the demons arent the bad guys' 'genere' if you dig a bit.
@@rajivpaul9189 Yea, he try to do good and bad things happen to those he cares. I can definitely see that cutting deep and wanting to avoid getting close to others.
The craziest part about his character is that he actually had us all fooled. We all assumed he was genuinely trying to be cruel but in reality he was masking his kindness.
Its inspiring how much they can tell with so little animation (I mean this was a battle with the mafia, and the actions scenes focused only in the dramatic sequences, and still it conveyed all the fierceness of a war)
Wow, I didn't expect a prequel to completely recontextualize the events of the original. The nobleman is now one of my favorite anime characters, and he doesn't even have a name :)
Goddammit. I was expecting funny plot twists from this channel and suddenly, the nobleman's story hits like a truck. Right in the feels. Just watched the whole arc with the adoptive daughter, and it really just seemed it was a funny twist that he was actually noble as a person. But after a tragic past it all comes full circle. Outstanding arc. Better than most things coming out. Excellent writing
this story has so much amazing things to talk about that I would ramble endlessly about. The writing and story is better than most anime yet it's duration is shorter than most anime. 15/10 imo
I gosh that was so wholesome… I know what I said sounds really random if you don’t have context so let me explain, I just watched this video right after I watched the one about him already meeting the animal girl, and after watching this video, it made me cry again and increased my u deists ding of this beautiful story. Best “villain” arc
If even Dio says it. I would believe it then
Wait how did you post this 3 weeks ago?
Dude why it's 3 weeks ago ,🤣🤣🤣
Looks like this Dio reached heaven

This nobleman series has more depth than 99% of the animes out there. Amazing writing
This deserve an ANIME.

Thanks for noticing it. With that detail, I'm so glad that the two of them found each other.
I saw it too, the two people that died were the girl's biological parents. I only noticed after watching the whole series again.

@prvtthd401 but who killed her biological parent ?

Wanna see the epilogue of him protecting his granddaughter like a total bad*ss.
Oh hell yeah ! Like in Taken, some slavetraders kidnapped her thinking she is just a beastman, and then the old mafia noble comes and detroy them.
It wasn't a villain arc but a sad heroic story he was acting bad to save those dear to him holy shit I'm teared up a bit it's genuinely sad

Probably because it looks really goofy and people wouldn't really expect there to be something as good as this to be here.
As the above comment said
It looks goofy.
Another good reason would be the titles.
Omg. The literal fucking tears this had me rolling... 😢 how long since something so simple, yet so beautiful came across? I'm amazed.

There's more character development in these 6 minutes than in entire movies
