I just can't stop watching Darrell's performances at the proms
Myself and my partner wached this. It was brilliant. Great music singer's orchestra musicians. Loved it.
He's a brilliant artist His rendition of The Drifter was superb
This was an exceptional concert. The musical arrangements and vocal performances were stunning- they managed to retain the integrity, the excitement and the energy of the original recordings and all in a live performance. Props to everyone involved- it was amazing and far exceeded my expectations. I had tears in my eyes listening and watching throughout the entire concert. Darrell rates a special mention for his performances particularly The Drifter which was outstanding. I really hope they follow up with a 2nd show that features more Northern classics.

Absolutely Brilliant! What an amazing show this was, I just keep watching over and over again. To see the Albert hall with 5000 people dancing to northern soul, all with a big smile on their face was brilliant, proves how great Northern Soul is and will never die, even ‘er indoors was dancing!
They have to do Northern Soul at the Proms more often after all it was and still is a Lifestyle

This took me back to my hey day as a mod,it was not just the fashion,it was not the chrome scooter i rode,it was the music and dancing,Wigan Casino,The Torch,Blackpool Mecca,The Tortured Wheel,where the sounds hit the dancefloor,great days.
Absolutely amazing! I was a bit scared to watch in case they didn't live up to the brilliant originals but boy I wasn't disappointed!! Fabulous night! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
