Completing the 61, 62 and 63 Post sets with all variations (cropping, colors and team changes) was one of the greatest challenges of my card collecting career.
I remember these cards well, as well as those on the boxes of Jell-O and Jell-O Pudding. The Jell-O cards were almost impossible to cut from the box without damaging the card. Great video, except that Jackie Robinson had long retired by the time these cards appeared. By this time, Jackie was working for Chock Full O Nuts Coffee here in NYC!
I loved these cards and “volunteered” to go to the grocery with my mom so I could pick the boxes/cards I wanted and hopefully talk her into a couple more boxes. I even sent away for the cards, sending in box tops. I still have them in pasted into a scrapbook 🥹; Yankees, Cubs, etc.
