MELODYDAY, who plans to color the music industry with their color, are coming back as ‘Color girls’ to catch our attention. They are coming back with the first mini album [COLOR] after 9 months. In the mini album [COLOR], MELODYDAY’s concept is ‘Color girls who are ready to catch your attention’, and they show us an ethnic festival look that reminds us of a Coachella festival. They show different charms of the members in various colors. The title song ‘Color’ is an up-tempo dance song that has a message of melting the dull world with their colors. There are witty lyrics throughout the song and YOOMIN’s rap makes the song sound even better.

今年の夏、歌謡界を彩るMELODYDAYが、‘視線強奪カラーガール’に変身、9ヶ月ぶりに初のミニアルバム『COLOR』でカムバックする。ミニアルバム『COLOR』で‘視線強奪カラーガール’をメインコンセプトにしたMELODYDAYは、コーチェラフェスティバルを連想させるエスニック・フェスティバル・ルックでスタイリングし、MELODYDAYメンバーたちの魅力を様々な色で表現した。タイトル曲「カルロ」は、‘色で’のユニークな略語で、白黒のように単調な世界を自分の色で染めていこうというメッセージのアップテンポのダンス曲で、歌のあちこちのウィットに富んだ歌詞とユミンのラップが妙な快感を加え曲をさらに爽やかにしてくれる。

I knew you would be here, I gotta thank you because your video series introduced me to melody and I can confidently say I'm a fan and yes it's unfair that these voices are underrated because this is really good. Easily my 4th or 3rd favorite girl group song this month.
I honestly don't get that either. They're so unique from all other groups but everyone just sleeps on them because they're underrated. Even K-Idols know and love them and try to promote them yet they're still underrated. ☹️
well...it was the same for mamamoo at first but now they're getting more recognition :D I love mamamoo and like this group, so hopefully in just a little bit of time...the same thing will happen :3

Exactly....groups should be compared to them, if you listen to Melody Day you will realize they have some of the best vocals in KPOP, just like Spica, but are so under rated because Korean KPOP fans worry more about company label, then actual musical talent.
in kpop you will be suprised because the underrated groups are so good and people are still sleeping on them i'm happy because omg and lovelyz are getting recognition now but we still got more melody day spica purfles sonamoo etc we need to make them popular i'm a proud underrated girlgroups stan here

First time listening to them. I like the MV and the girls are pretty, it's a shame that the song they were given wasn't very good. The concept and their vibe isn't basic too like most of the cutesy comebacks that are happening this summer

You should try out some others songs of them, they're one of the groups with probably the best vocals in KPop since they were a ballad group before, the leader won on Masked King ^^ (#LoveMe and Anxious are great songs)

+ralphyolder I think one major problem with it is it's just a bit too high. That higher pitch makes it sound too cutesy rather than just fun. I love the idea, I like the lyrics, I just wish the song was stronger (and slightly lower)

i thought now that i love The Boyz i can brave myself to come back here without feeling annoyed, but i still do. please, The Boyz fans, what you're doing is just rude. i'm only saying it nicely now because i've come to love The Boyz. would you feel happy if you go to The Boyz MV only to see top comments all talking 'who's here for whoever else in their mv' or 'only here for blabla'....like...basic respect. if you have nothing to say about the mv, why not just cut the boyz scenes and post it elsewhere and fangirl all you want there. or just make one comment of the boyz and everyone else can just like that one comment instead of flooding the mv with the boyz comment. do these things need to be taught? basic courtesy. and for me, fans are always the reflection of their idols. so don't go ruining The Boyz' reputation with this attitude. sigh. it's the reason i avoided MelodyDay MVs for a long time, i didn't want to hate The Boyz for the fans, because i do like them even when i didn't stan them yet(now i do, so please help me to keep my newly found love for them T^T) i know they're precious juniors of MelodyDay. to those who actually bothered to comment about the song/MelodyDay even while talking bout your boy, thank you for at least showing courtesy. it's basic, but so rare to find in kpop fans. so i appreciate every bit of it.
Anyway, having said that....i miss MelodyDay....my heart hurts thinking of what they could've been if the company didn't give up on them after The Unit and maybe made them a ballad idolgroup instead of dance since they're known for their vocals....they totally deserved better, Yeoeun is like the most amazing female vocalist...have y'all heard her sing on King of Masked Singer? mindblowing. She became a King too. n she has quirky personality as seen on The Unit. and Yein, Chahee and Yoomin were also great singers. also if u watch their radio show guesting with Vromance-the girls were just funny. i'm just Yeoeun-biased so i fangirl her more. and this song...is my first song when i discovered MelodyDay...well, actually, i had found them when they sang ost before debut....that's how i searched for them again and found their mvs. one of my fav mvs from them(besides Love Me, You Seem Busy, Anxious, i still feel Love Me fits MelodyDay best...they should've went that path if the agency want to keep them as idols..rather than Kiss on the Lips...which is...too generic n didn't showcase their forte) good old times, i still love this mv and how vibrant it is. what i don't love is just the comment section.

honestly before HT i don't know who is Melody Day, and recently i've been watching HT and saw Chahee's charm with the girls. She is so cute! and i just falling in love with them now, they're song is easy listening too!

I was rewatching the 100 and randomly thought to google about cre ker, I did not realize Melody Day was under them before.
I came here because I just remembered a few of the members had been in the mv. Honestly speaking, kind of sad to only know about them after they disbanded, this song is pretty catchy and I'd be ok trying to listen to more.

this is a legit summer jam, as always MelodyDay rock! i'm a sucker for this kind of retro concepts, and the song is just my cup of tea (the melody and specially Yoomin's rap threw me off, that was so good). the colors of the video is so pretty and the girls are getting more gorgeous. i hope people will stop sleeping on them and start to appreciate their talents ♡
