  • Back here again after almost a decade. Four Seasons Langkawi was a treat to us. Everything feels brand new. A whole different experience from what we had 8 years ago.
And ever since we discovered HoteLux, we now get to explore more hotels. By booking through the app, these are the benefits that we got during our stay here!
•Early Check In (based on availability)
    - the hotel was able to accommodate us to check in at 1PM.
•Daily Breakfast for TWO at Serai
    •US$100 Hotel Credit
    - which we could use on all dining outlets and also at Geo Spa.
    •Complimentary Room Upgrade
    - we were upgraded to the upper floor Partial Seaview Pavilion.
•Pay upon check-in and flexible cancellation policy
    - which is very handy and what attracts us most by booking with the app. Can’t know what will happen in these climate.
    •Welcome Amenities
    - which is a nice touch. Usually, you’ll only get special personalized amenities when you have elite membership with a hotel chain. But with the app, now you simply get something special during your stay.
•Late Check Out (based on availability)
    - the most important perk of them all. Our flight out from the island was quite late. And luck was on our side. The resort extended our check out to 6PM.
Some of the HIGHLIGHTS during our stay here.
Cleanliness. I have to say FS Langkawi have outdone themselves. When it comes to a resort with rainforest by the hill with nature alongside the resort, we would’ve set our expectations that sometimes it is how nature is. For example, the outdoor balcony. We’ve been to resorts on the island like Ritz, Andaman, and The Datai. Monkeys, insects, squirrels and hornbills are everywhere. Indoors are usually spotless. However FS Langkawi has proven that even outdoors can be spotless too! I could literally roll on the balcony naked (not that I did). That’s how clean it was!
Ikan-Ikan Restaurant. This is the BEST restaurant in my opinion. Not that the others are not any good. We had our lunch and dinners on the resort during our trip. I have to say Ikan Ikan really hit all the right spots! It is spicy, with all that right local punches of spice. The fish was the star of the night! It was soooooo gooooood!
I truly enjoyed my time here. It’s one of those resorts that I wished I had more time here. Amazing staffs, food are quite good, and the whole resort is is being designed to feel very quiet even when occupancy is high. You don't feel like you are in a crowded place.

If i can ask, why select Upper floor? Not ground floor can directly access the beach? Tq

It really depends. We like the upper floor as we could have more privacy while the ground floor suites won’t have as much privacy. It’s true you get access straight to the beach, however, that access would be shared along with other hotel guest.

Haha.. I get that. It took us some time to get used to it. But after a few days, it kinda grew on us.

Are there people who actually swim in the sea? I couldn't see anyone in the water.

You definitely can. The waters are quite calm.. I think the only reason why people here don’t swim much in the sea is because the pools here are pretty amazing!
