I love these stories. I was born in 1982, I really wish I would have been around to hear these on the radio when they were originally broadcast. I listen to these every morning while I'm delivering the newspaper in the boonies at 2 am. Gets the imagination going!
Way Cool. These are great stories for a job like that. Spooky Deliveries.
Great memories, thank you. Creature Feature, Dark Shadows, and late night mystery on the radio. Great times growing up in the Windy City.
OOOOO6!!!
I remember listening to these in the middle of the night as a teen. I think it was WLS Chicago station.
Goodnight from Derby, England. x
My god they thought that people in their 50’s were old men and women in the 70’s. WTF?
You've brought back MANY pleasant memories & I thank you! Late @ nite in Chicago I listened 2 a lot of these broadcasts (any thriller\horror being my favourites) Also like the cover art used on screen. Thank you SO much again...:-)
+Darryl Fraylon ~ You're welcome.......Glad the old shows brought back some pleasant memories for you.
Thank you so much Chilly 💕
Another superb episode.
The picture is over the top...
Yes, over the too and extremely odd.
Very good story!
Nicely spooky!
Binge listening during 😷pandemic😱 Oct 2020. Oakland CA
Im writing a book of short stories horrorr mostly , and a few days ago an idea hit me , why not do a story in the style of an old radio broadcast? , the question is how to do it , anyone know how i can do it ?
+Marcus Kurtz Try having a girl listening to a program on an antique radio-she found radio at strange musty shop-she hears static-then a spooky tale begins-your story I'd like to read your book when finished.
+Margie Lyons I like this idea! If Marcus doesn't use it I might :-)
Yes--By All Means, Violet, Use The Idea if it Appeals to You . Best Wishes and Hope it Works Out !
I can't remimber the name of the episode but I was looking for an episode that had the plot of a house being found under ground, in a cave I think, the people that found the house remark on the fact the the house that showed the signs of being very acciant dispite the fact the the house looked modern for the time. The characters reached the conclusion that the reason this was that civilazation, at some time in the distant past, had pregressed to about the same level that as the present. Anyone happen to know the name of the episode in question?
Most likely you're referring to "The Ninth Volume"

9th volume was my guess, as well.

The Bible says, *"Honor your mother and your father"* but some conditions apply. If either mother or father or both have no respect for themselves or each other, any respect a young child might have had for parent or parent s will erode over time..
Who did the artwork for the thumbnail?
ChillySunshine has sadly passed, but they did all their own artwork for the thumbnails... Some of the early ones, have transitions, at the end of the story.... 💜💚💜
@@funniebunnie4u Oh, thanks. I had no idea. Is the art archived on a site somewhere?
Really? How did we find that out?@@funniebunnie4u
@genefogarty5395 Not that I know of. I sometimes just screen shot them.
@timthetiny7538 Well... Just deduction, really. All of his channels stopped posting at the same time. No replies for years when he was regular at it for years. He had promised to upload all 1,299 episodes (not sure of exact number of episodes). During the period before he quit uploading, he had talk about an illness that he was dealing with, that slowed his upload schedule.... but had reported he was doing better. I hope I am wrong, but....
