for the example at min 6 why would we divide the radius by 2 if it states that .28 m is the radius. I thought we only divide if it states it is the diameter.
Hello How To Physics! I do not know you personally, as I am not one of your students, but I wanted to thank you. I took my AP Physics C exam during the beginnings of May and I got my scores this morning. Hello, why does the law, linear quantity = angular quantity x r not apply for toruqe as then it would be F=TorquexR when it is really Torque=ForcexR? Thank you

Hey Chris, you are right. I should have divided by 0.28 m instead of 0.19 m because 28 cm is the radius (not the diameter). Sorry for the error!
