Greetings, Michelle, I was just sitting out on my porch, watching your video on painting the highland cow. When I looked up and I had two darling, Javelina‘s coming up to say hi. Of course I tried to get them to move on because they can be obnoxious. I was wondering if you would ever consider doing a colorful abstract Javelina painting like the Highland Cow. Living in Arizona we love our javelinas. I can’t imagine how many people will go crazy over this. Some thing to think about please please consider this. I would love to be able to be able to paint a colorful Javelina. Thank you for the consideration Patti. I love your teaching style!
@@michellethepainter. hi again! If you would like photos of my cute but smelly javelinas I’d be happy to send you some. They visit me almost every night. When we moved to Sedona I foolishly started feeding the little beggars and then they told the whole family I had good snacks. I had 10 -15 of them at the door ready for dinner. They would let me know they were there by rattling the screen door until I came out. Yikes! I created a monster! But....the babies were hungry! The babies were so cute. Naughty but cute. I stopped feeding them because we weren’t home much because of a family member became ill and needed our help. I do miss the whole bunch of them but it’s safer and quieter. Consider painting one because no one has painted them in a cute fun way like your lovely pieces. Thank you for your inspiration you are so talented!! Patti
I love this kind of painting and gave it a try. I’m a beginner artist and found that my brushes dragged across the page. Does the canvas need to be prepared with gesso? Or are my brushes not the best quality? My brushes are from my teenage children’s art classes . Do the brushes need to be loaded with paint? I wonder if maybe I didn’t have enough paint on them.
