You go into this documentary as a fan of XG and you come out a fan of Simon as well. You really get to see just how incredible of a mentor and visionary he is throughout this whole thing and its such a nice way to understand just how close they all are.

XGALX is a subsidiary label of AVEX, a leading Japanese company renowned for its roster of J-Pop artists. XG trained in Japan for five years before relocating to Korea for additional promotion. However, XG is not categorized as either a K-Pop or J-Pop group; they are defined as XPOP from Japan. AVEX and Simon have the share the same vision here. It is on the billboard Japan Interview ( with AVEX CEO Katsumi Kuriowa ) online.

Thanks for reacting to Xtra Xtra... In my opinion it's one of the best documentary about a group... It's raw, emotional, and beautiful... The bond between the girls and Simon is one of the strongest I've ever seen in Kpop, I guarantee you're gonna fall deeper for them after watching the whole episodes...

SIMON PARK is Korean-Japanese American. He was part of DMTN a KPOP boy goup 3rd Gen. He was a late replacement towards the end of DMTN's run. He goes by the mononym JAKOPS which means JApanKOreaProducedbySimon.
JAKOPS IS a prodigy in KPOP, he was already pioneering the RNBxHipHOP new flavor with his collabs during his time. He was essentially the face of DMTN. His co members Daniel and DayDay also play a part in XGALX.
THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND XGALX AND XG! THE GENIUS THAT BROUGHT XG TO THE WORLD.
HE WILL CREATE AN EMPIRE ON THE BASE OF WHAT XG CAN ACHIEVE.

1:29 1st one was Juria at 12 years old. XG Main Vocalist.
Simon Jakops is Japanese/Korean but born in USA and was part of 2nd Gen South Korean boy group DMTN (Dalmation).
He speaks both Korean and Japanese, Idk how good his English is but he has spoken some.
XG members can also all speak Korean, Japanese, and English.

We will be here with you along the way though, so happy to see you join the watch of Xtra Xtra :D
Simon is half Japanese and Korean though but grew up in USA
Thats why he chose his name to be JAKOPS (JApan+KOrea) as his identity name.

    Awesome!
This is like an intro which is why it's so short.
Then it starts with Episode 1.
This is a great Documentary. I don't cry easily but I cried multiple times during this Documentary.

12:20 You're right K-Pop and J-Pop is different and also cannot be mix either Korean follow J-Pop or Japanese follow
K-Pop. That's why Mnet Produce 48 (Kpop idol x AKB48 idol) is all about business or money all member already set
before the final result. Fyi JAKOPS is JApan KOrea Produce by Simon.
1:43 The first one is Juria.

lol save the question until the end of the documentary as you ask them they will be answered throughout, will say Simon Jakops is Japanese/Korean born in the US, the name JAKOPS means JA Japan, KO Korea, PS Produced by Simon, as far as the tissues are concerned you won't need them until around EP5 or 6 and on

I would say each episode has dramatic moments but by episode 3 and onwards, that’d probably be the time you might tear up or get watery eyed.🥹. Thanks for doing this, it’s heavy at times but so worth it, and their performances will be so much more impactful after connecting with them through this series.
Hesono- O! Is their group cheer, and translates to umbilical cord. It expresses just how strong their bond is.

Jakops/Simon left a comment on your puppet show reaction! He watches reactions which is very cool. Can't wait to go on this journey of discovery with you. I love seeing other people's perspective about XG.🐺🧬👽🫡
