For me the ultimate cherry fragrance is Bodacious by Boadicea. It’s like eyes rolling back in your head at first sniff. Hahaha It’s everything Lost Cherry wants to be. Also have you tried Hilde Soliani’s Una Tira L’Altra? It’s a cherry bomb!
There is also Escada Cherry in the Air but it is discontinued so it is super rare. It is very sweet, tart, the cherry is distinguishable but it is mixed with the marshmallow note and it has no staying power. I gave it to my eldest son who likes cherry.
I have Duchessa by Gritti. In Europe it’s easy to get it. I bought it because of Demi Rawling’s approving appraisal and because she mentioned it as a beast mode fragrance- which of course it’s not. That woman always lies about perfomance, I don’t know Why 😂Duchessa is a very nice fragrance but don’t expect it to be too strong. Nobody felt it on my skin one hour after I’ve applied it. I had to mention this here because I know Duchessa is a very sought after fragrance and there are no boutiques to try it and many people will blind buy it so don’t expect it to be very intense. I personally know performance is so different on everyone because there are so many factors that go into the performance of a fragrance but I haven't found a very long lasting cherry fragrance! But they are so fun and fruity and playful to me. :)
I’m kinda obsessed with Close Up by Olfactive Studio right now. I don’t usually love cherry fragrances on me, they remind me of celebrity fragrances growing up, but this one with the white tabaco and the musk it takes me in a territory I really feel comfy in. It still reminds me of celebrity perfumes or weird body lotion scents, but that’s what cherry does on me.
I haven’t tried any cherry perfumes because I always associate any cherry flavored food or drink to cough syrup. Now that I can see this note is getting more popular, I will definitely check out your list.
Tom Fords Lost Cherry is still my #1 cherry fragrance. I really dislike Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry. It smells nothing like Tom Fords Lost Cherry even at the start in my opinion. Too much of a dirty ashy smoky scent after a few minutes. Didn’t like the dry down & performance horrible on me. Lasted 2 hours at best. I’m looking forward to the new Tom Ford cherry! Actually Lost Cherry last on my skin for about 8 hours or longer. I bought Lost Cherry based on your review! It will always be in my rotation and worth the $$$ for me 🥰👍🏼

My father smoked a pipe tobacco longtime ago, the brand was amphora. It what I think a cherry 🍒 fragrance should smell, sweet, sticky, cherry, tobacco spicy
My daughter and I came across Cherry Punk at Ministry of Scent and really liked it - very yummy. I'm waiting for the restock of samples so that I can try it for a few days on my skin.
I haven’t had many perfumes with a cherry note. The first was Louve, S. Lutens. I think of this as more of an almond scent, but I loved it. I bought Black Perfecto, Guerlain on a whim. It’s too simple for me. I wear it when I’m with my nephews who are children. They like it on me. I have to overspray to make it last.

Wow! I didn't think Lost Cherry would be #1. It is not more 'Cherry' than Wild Cherry to me, more gourmand, for sure but in a 'desert with Cherry as opposed to a Cherry desert' type of way. I also think that the Cherry fragrance you expected from Cherry Oud already exists from the many, many Cherry fragrances from Guerlain. They have so many, I thought Guerlain was going to dominate this list...Clinique Aromatics has a nice Cherry fragrance as well. Great video!
Lol...I didnt like Dark Cherry and Amber at first either but every time I wear it- I get so many compliments! There are several fragrances that have Cherry in but not as the main note..I know you like Baklava by Pearlescent parfums and Kayali has another fragrance, Invite Only Amber that has Cherry, Tobacco and Spices! Man I hope you are exploring Kayali for us! Lastly, have you smelled Thumbsucker by Stella Skuugen? I am loving this cherry 🍒 explosion in fragrances but some of these fragrances are so difficult to obtain. Lost Cherry is one of my favorites as well but I do like Wet Cherry liquor by BohoBoco and Duchessa by Gritti. I am intrigued by the Cherry Smoke and Tonka Cherry they would have been nice for Fall though.
BDK has a perfume with cherry Rouge Smoking but I don't know what to think of it as the reviews are varied and contradictory!! but it's so subjective!!!
I have the 10ml and I don’t find the cherry to be super prominent. It sometimes smells like a root beer float, and sometimes I think it smells like Red Vines candy. When I first smelled it, I was addicted to it, but now I never wear it. I find it overly sweet.
I agree with @meepmoopmeep1 smoking rouge smells like a dr.pepper or cherry cola, a very soda pop scented fragrance to my nose too. I kinda like it --its a fun scent.
Cherry Punk and Mandorle are absolute love for me, I never thought that I'll like the cherry note that much. What to try Duchessa and never tried Lost Cherry, will do, but Cherry Smoke sounds much better maybe I'll get that one first. Thank you for the list Sebastian!!!

I like Mancera Wild Cherry 🍒 a lot. But it's a naughty dirty cherry. It has a resemblance with Guerlain Le Petite Robe Noir. It's more a sour cherry. With a musky dry down. Stays on clothes for weeks. Yes Lost Cherry is great but overpriced for me.
Wild Cherry took a while to grow on me too, I layer it with other Mancera fragrances but it’s one of my favourites now. I wear it on its own at least a few times per week now, and it’s always lingering on just about all my sweaters and jackets.
I haven't tried much, when it comes to cherry. With Lost Cherry being the most prominent. I'm always concerned it'll smell synthetic and medicinal since actual cherries don't have that strong of a taste and flavouring never actually gets close. So far, I haven't been proven wrong.

Late to this conversation, but I love Luctor Et Emergo by The People Of The Labyrinths in the parfum version. A wonderful cherry that predates Lost Cherry by 20 years and was a cult classic back in the day.
Yes! Luctor was one of my first niche fragrances over 15 years ago? LuckyScent hasn’t had it forever. I think it might be discontinued. I loved that one!

In your list, you oftenly said especially at the end of the list, that the scent with alot of cherry were often also smoky, but tobacco was never in the scent profile. So with my limited knowledge of fragrance, I was really suprise that there weren’t any fragrance with a predominance of cherry and tobacco on your list. Maybe it doesn’t exist ? 😢 Thank you for the content, and thanks to you, my fragrance journey has been a pleasant one. I’ve made a couple of purchases base on your description of some fragrances because for me it seems that the way you describe your experience with a fragrance, it is very close to what I experience with the same fragrance. So, it's not cherry, but I have heard of the Moresque house, but I've tried Sana, which is the most delicious lemon pound cake. Still trying to decide if I want to smell like that all day...since I will get huge from eating pound cake all the time 😂
Back in the late ‘60s I received a gift set that included a small bottle of “Dante Cherry”. My memory is very vague as to how it smelled except it did remind me of cherries. I knew there was also a “Dante Lime” but I don’t see either listed in Fragrantica or Basenotes.
Too bad cherry oud isn’t great I remember you were initially excited to try it. Sadly it seems to have fallen flat . Have you tried Bodacious from Boadicea that’s my favorite cherry fragrance

I love Kayali combined with the very affordable but similar Zara Cherry Smoothie. Kayali has a great woody drydown and by respraying with Cherry Smoothie I get the dark sweet juicy cherry note again. 🍒
I just tried new perfume house call new notes. They have cherry perfume aswell and oh my goddess it’s pretty. Sour cherry with spice and it’s not overly sweet
I know Cherry is kind of juvenile and not a very complex perfume note, but I do love Cherry 🍒 and out of all my perfumes from niche to designer my favorite is Escada Cherries in the Air.
Its weird because i do get a lot of cherry from the bananarepublic dark cherry and amber especially in the opening. Very jucy and dark. One of my favorite cherry fragrance🥲
Please tell me you have at least got your nose on Cherry on Top by Rirana. Love the different transitions it goes through while drying down. Definitely not linear to me. Worth a shot for sure!!
not a big fan of cherry in fragrances but for me the most addictive cherry scent i smelled is Black Perfecto by La Petite Robe Noire Guerlain. that like of frags, especially the black bottle.
I’ve been searching for a cherry fragrance and I just recently got a 10ml of mancera wild cherry, and I do get some cherry on the opening but for some reason the dry down just reminds me of angel nova edp. It’s pleasant but I won’t be getting a full bottle. I really want to try the dua dupe of lost cherry because I hear it’s less boozy than the original, and I’m also looking for a decant of La petite robe noire by guerlain 🍒🍒

Have you tried Proad Cherry syrup? This one is the best dupe for Tomford in my opinion, they launch so many versions such as exclusive, gold, intense etc but the original is the one I like the most

Hello ! You didnt mentionned backtoblack from kilian. Cherry not listed on the notes. Its more honey. But when you spray it you have this liquory smoky cherry. It's seductive and a little bit mysterious. Not gourmand. Remember the "Mon chéri" chocolate but in a premium way

The cherry scents I own are budget friendly: Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears, Seductive Red by Guess, and Cherry Smoothie by Zara.
Seductive Red is a wonderful fragrance! And so affordable. That entire line is SO underrated, imo.

Raw Cherry from Aaron Terence Hughes, I wore it yesterday and smelled great in the Autumn weather.

I love Lost Cherry. But I love Bodacious by Boadicea even more. It's a bolder cherry fragrance with better longevity. .

There is a very gentle cherry blosson fragrance from loccitane. I do think cherry's work better in bath and body products 🍒🍒🍒

Yes I can see the syntheticness but some are quite delicious and Cherry Oud by Guerlain is really bad.

I’ve made a couple of purchases base on your description of some fragrances because for me it seems that the way you describe your experience with a fragrance, it is very close to what I experience with the same fragrance. So, it's not cherry, but I have heard of the Moresque house, but I've tried Sana, which is the most delicious lemon pound cake. Still trying to decide if I want to smell like that all day...since I will get huge from eating pound cake all the time 😂
Back in the late ‘60s I received a gift set that included a small bottle of “Dante Cherry”. My memory is very vague as to how it smelled except it did remind me of cherries. I knew there was also a “Dante Lime” but I don’t see either listed in Fragrantica or Basenotes.
I love cherry oud, the new guerlain release. I know you hated it, but it really drew me in after a couple of wearings.

Too bad cherry oud isn’t great I remember you were initially excited to try it. Sadly it seems to have fallen flat . Have you tried Bodacious from Boadicea that’s my favorite cherry fragrance

bloody wood from liquid and bohoo for me are the top cherry blend and maybe cherry rose from guerlian but not really 😊

I love Kayali combined with the very affordable but similar Zara Cherry Smoothie. Kayali has a great woody drydown and by respraying with Cherry Smoothie I get the dark sweet juicy cherry note again. 🍒
I just tried new perfume house call new notes. They have cherry perfume aswell and oh my goddess it’s pretty. Sour cherry with spice and it’s not overly sweet

I know Cherry is kind of juvenile and not a very complex perfume note, but I do love Cherry 🍒 and out of all my perfumes from niche to designer my favorite is Escada Cherries in the Air.

Lost cherry didn’t work for me. To my nose it was very linear and cherry cough syrup came through. Such a bummer.
Its weird because i do get a lot of cherry from the bananarepublic dark cherry and amber especially in the opening. Very jucy and dark. One of my favorite cherry fragrance🥲

not a big fan of cherry in fragrances but for me the most addictive cherry scent i smelled is Black Perfecto by La Petite Robe Noire Guerlain. that like of frags, especially the black bottle.

I’ve been searching for a cherry fragrance and I just recently got a 10ml of mancera wild cherry, and I do get some cherry on the opening but for some reason the dry down just reminds me of angel nova edp. It’s pleasant but I won’t be getting a full bottle. I really want to try the dua dupe of lost cherry because I hear it’s less boozy than the original, and I’m also looking for a decant of La petite robe noire by guerlain 🍒🍒

I enjoy the cherry punk but am very interested in the new extrait version and I want to get my nose on Tonka cola. The Mandorle sounds great and I would like to try that one too. Have you tried Proad Cherry syrup? This one is the best dupe for Tomford in my opinion, they launch so many versions such as exclusive, gold, intense etc but the original is the one I like the most

Hello ! You didnt mentionned backtoblack from kilian. Cherry not listed on the notes. Its more honey. But when you spray it you have this liquory smoky cherry. It's seductive and a little bit mysterious. Not gourmand. Remember the "Mon chéri" chocolate but in a premium way
